Serving at Westmoreland Tennessee was very rewarding I am in my sixties and this was my first mission trip. Glad I went. I would encourage any age to go

The mission Discovery Staff was really fun to hang out with, although I wish we interacted a little bit more. They made my experience great with their knowledge and their kindness.

Thanks for sharing your experience with us, we're glad to hear that you enjoyed your time with our staff and learned a lot from them. We do try to get as much interaction in as possible during the mission trip but sometimes it's just not feasible given the nature of what is going on. We hope that you still had an enjoyable time!

The Mission Discovery team we had to Puerto Rico was a great one! Very friendly people from all walks of life who were approachable and welcomed us like family. The only reason I put 4/5 stars is because of the mission discovery leader. I would have just appreciated it more if he was more in the moment, less on his phone, didn't try to force our group into documenting everything and did not make such debatable claims about the Bible and about events that happened on our trip. Of course, he is probably a busy man, probably wants to share our experience with those that are not physically present, and has his own interpretation of the Bible (which I will respect his right to have). So besides that minor detail, it was overall an amazing trip. One that helped re-center me in many ways (mentally/emotionally/spiritually) and inspires me to go on further mission trips in the future. Thank you so much to Mission Discovery for hosting us and taking such good care of my group. To the Mission Discovery Team: keep up the great work because you are changing the lives of not only the people we are helping but also the missionaries themselves.

Thank you for your kind words about our team in Puerto Rico, Angelina! I'm sorry to hear that the leader's style was not what you were expecting. We are always looking at ways to improve and we'll make sure this feedback gets back to the appropriate leadership. We value your input and appreciate your openness with us as a Mission Discovery volunteer.
