If I could rate less I would. For over 3 months our dishwasher has had a leak. We have been walked in circles by the warranty department. They have been the rudest most unbelievably unhelpful people to work with. I have had so many phone calls trying to get out dishwasher fixed and are still waiting on them.
Purchased a brand-new Midea freezer. I allowed it to sit for 48 hours before turning it on, only to discover it was defective. Midea confirmed the defect and issued an RGA, then essentially washed their hands of the entire situation and pawned everything off on Lowe’s.
Multiple emails to Midea went unanswered. ZERO follow-up, ZERO accountability, and absolutely no effort to stand behind their product or properly resolve the warranty claim.
Lowe’s agreed to arrange pickup, but nobody ever contacted me. Eventually, I got fed up, loaded the full-size freezer myself, and personally transported it back to Lowe’s for a refund.
Absolutely UNACCEPTABLE. I paid for a working appliance, not the privilege of spending hours coordinating the return of their defective product.
Midea’s factory warranty means very little when their customer service refuses to take responsibility. I will NEVER purchase another Midea product.

The compressor seized at 2 years
The compressor seized at 2 years 8 months. I did the basic troubleshooting myself and sent Midea photos and video. When I asked whether their in-home service visit would cost me anything, Midea cancelled it and told me to hire a technician at my own expense. I paid $189 for a diagnosis that confirmed the failure. Midea then offered $120.95 for the part only, with no labor. A sealed-system compressor swap costs more than a new freezer, so the "10-year compressor warranty" left me with a dead unit, a $68 loss on the claim, and about $2,000 of spoiled meat. Buyer beware.
UPDATE: I sent an email to customer relations at Lowe's corporate and they reached out to me within hours to help rectify this. Not sure how it will end, but I grateful that Lowe's is trying.
I have also filed a complaint with the TN Consumer Affairs division of the AG's office. I included 50 similar "early compressor failure" single-start ratings from Lowe's website as documentation that this is a systemic problem.

Most garbage and temu quality company…
Most garbage and temu quality company in america. currently have a dehumidifier been working okay for a year, now everything is falling apart, the drip section, the hose, the water holder. Everything is breaking now. What a complete waste of my money I would have been better off finding a nicer one in the dumpster. This company needs to go out of business or advertise that your stuff only lasts a year. 0/100

BUYER BEWARE
BUYER BEWARE — MY EXPERIENCE WITH MIDEA TURNED A SIMPLE WARRANTY CLAIM INTO A BBB COMPLAINT.
I purchased a NEW Midea range manufactured in April 2026. After approximately TWO uses, the glass cooktop failed. I witnessed the right-front burner area raise/cone upward, followed by marking, cracking, and glass breaking/separating from the cooktop. This was especially concerning with a young child in my home.
Midea documented my case IN WRITING as “safety-related.” Yet I was later blamed for the damage even though NO technician had physically inspected the appliance.
What followed was weeks of conflicting information from multiple supervisors. I received different explanations about what had happened and what would happen next. I preserved the emails, photographs, recordings, and other documentation.
Midea eventually confirmed IN WRITING that my exchange was successfully initiated on 9/17/26. Even AFTER that, I continued receiving requests for a serial-number photo I had already submitted MULTIPLE TIMES.
Meanwhile, my family of 7 was left without a safely functioning stove, forcing us to spend approximately $500 in additional meal expenses. I am STILL waiting for reimbursement.
The situation became so frustrating that I filed a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau — Midea Case #113549139.
I have heard “we apologize for the inconvenience” enough. Apologies do not replace a functioning appliance, reimburse a family's losses, or excuse weeks of contradictory information.
Based on MY documented experience, I would NOT purchase another Midea appliance. I strongly encourage anyone considering this company to research its warranty and customer-service experiences carefully before spending their money.
A customer should not have to become an investigator just to get a defective appliance addressed.
Midea asked for my feedback. Here it is: I needed a SOLUTION, not another apology.

Absolute Nightmare: Zero Care for Customer Safety!
Absolute nightmare experience with this company!
They sent a damaged 87-pound portable AC, btw not damaged during shipping, the box was OK. Now their customer service is actually demanding that I haul this massive, damaged item to a shipping center to get a replacement credit, before they will ship a new one. I asked them to arrange FedEx pickup, they said NO it's against their corporate policy so they would not. FedEx driver left the giant box outside my garage because it was too heavy for them to bring to the door. I have a bad back and physically cannot lift, move, or transport an 87-pound box. Expecting a customer to risk severe physical injury to return a damaged item is completely unacceptable, unsafe, and shows zero care for customer safety. Save yourself the stress and avoid this business at all costs!

Most appliances won't last 3 years
I purchased a Midea Convertible 21-cu ft Garage Ready Frost-free Upright Freezer for $900 Dec 26, 2023. On Aug 20, 2026 the compressor failed. I got a quote of $400 - $1,000 to replace it. An expensive appliance like this should last at least 5 years, not less than 3 years. Customer service said it is out of warranty and there's nothing they will do. Don't buy Midea!
