Poorly Sewn, Poorly Serviced: would not buy again
I ordered 2 curtains. 1 was pristine. The other had a hole they had embroidered over (no design, just an explosive amount of thread, very obvious against the thin curtain and impacting the overall lighting) which I was later told was "part of the charm" that made it "perfectly imperfect." I didn't expect that, but alright? Where I was upset was with the quality with which the second curtain was upcycled. I had 10 photos of the upside of the curtain with loose threads, missed stitches, and knots from the machine. They truly did a terrible job sewing this curtain, and the fabric here is not what was at fault (both curtains were like 50% synthetic, btw, in case you didn't know—one was rayon and the other polyester). I contacted CS. I stated clearly that I did not want to return but to discuss other remedies. They quite frankly told me my only option was return or exchange (with shipping costs on me) and gaslit me that the sloppy sewing was something their "customers expect." Well, if you're not yet a customer—consider yourself warned what to expect! I have supported many businesses that upcycle products and use recycled materials, and this was NOT how they operated; while the embroidered hole is something I can accept is part of how they do business, the sewing—which was perfect in the other curtain—is not a variance most businesses would consider okay. I do not recommend this business.
