VERY DISAPPOINTED!!! My father is a member at a very exclusive and high-end golf course in Castle Pines, Colorado. They don't put prices on anything in the Pro Shop, most members are multimillionaires, many are billionaires. He told me they had many upset members because they saw the Mellin Hats and just picked them up, then saw the bill at the end of the month and say they paid $100 for a hat that is literally NO BETTER than the $40 hats. People who could buy the company upset about one hat on principle. I had the SAME EXPERIENCE! Mellin spends an absurd ammount of money on advertising and I got so fed up with the emails and texts they were sending me, I reluctantly opened one and bought a hat. I spent $100 after tax and was expecting this supreme hat that surpassed my others in some way. It doesn't. Same quality, same fit, and only difference is there is a silly little pocket inside of it as if I am going to store a key or money in my hat.. Biggest rip off of the year for me. IDK what high horse they are sitting atop, I'm not sure if they source some exotic cotton that makes no difference (lol) to credit the markup but whatever it is, NOT WORTH IT. Same amount of sweat stains, same feel, and I can't seem to sell myself in anyway on buying a second one. RIP OFF. The golf course I spoke up had to credit members back for their purchase to not lose face in the light of marketing a product not worth more than $40 in their shop amongst people that spend $40 on a sandwich. If that doesn't tell you something I don't know what will.
