I wish I could give them zero stars. I opened an account with them on 10-1-2026. I did a transfer for the initial funding of my account for $150.00. It was completed by my bank on 10-2-2026. I received a debit card from them. But on 10-11-2026, my initial transfer was still on "HOLD". I emailed their support and didn't receive a response. Monday, 10-12-2026, was a holiday for a lot of people, so I wasn't that worried. Then I didn't hear a response on Tuesday, 10-13. Finally, on Wednesday, 10-14, I reached to them via Chat on their website because they don't answer their phone. I was told that there is some sort of an investigation and they won't be done until 11-30-26. Then they prevented me from downloading the chat. This is a total scam! I now have to reach out to my bank, Plaid (the service they use for transferring funds) and their holding bank (Thread Bank) to try and get my money sooner than 11-30-26. I am just trying to run a business and these creeps scammed me. I wish I had never heard of them. I thought their services sounded great. But apparently they are too good to be true. I should have known better. I am kicking myself now. This is going to be a big pain in the a**.

We use mazumago to collect large sums from consumers for retail transactions. We sell saunas and hot tubs, so most sales are over $10k. Mazumago has been great to work with, it was easy to setup, and transactions process on time without any hassle. Our clients love it too, it’s easy for them to navigate paying us, the only challenge we’ve had is ensuring they trust the transaction process as it’s new for them to login to online banking as part of a payment. But this is only a challenge for a small percentage of clients.

MazumaGo is now our default method for paying contractors. The interface is simple and processing payments does not take long at all. It is about as fast as sending an e-transfer and has no restrictions of being able to only move limited amounts of money each week.
