The site is easy to use to find the CPE I need, the value for the price is great. The only thing keeping it from 5 stars is my personal experience with the content itself. That is not something MasterCPE necessarily has a lot of control over. Nevertheless, I needed to consider it.

While I agree with many of the others that it is convenient and that the courses are well done and easy to digest, I disagree with the course selection. I have used Master CPE for many years now and I try not to take the same courses twice. I also know that many CPA's that are not in private practice (Audit or Tax), would appreciate more courses to choose from. At this point I am pretty much going to end up repeating courses unless I take the tax and audit/standards updates. After working in this field for more than 20 years I can honestly say that there is such much more out there to deal with that the course logs for non-tax/audit/standards could easily be triple what they are now and they would still be technical in nature as well. For instance, I serve primarily in the Financial Services, primarily the investments industry - from broker-dealers to money managers to banks - all of which are heavily regulated by different regulatory bodies (FINRA, SEC, FDIC, SIPC etc.) and which also carry there fair share of accounting and operational issues to contend with. It sure would be nice to be able to get some CPE on truly important matters like these without having to go to an industry conference where the costs of lodging and travel alone could be over $1K, not to mention the conference attendance fees.

I would have given 5 stars but I don't think that you're editing some of the content of some of the contributors you're using. In particular are those authored by Delta CPE LLC. When I tried to research Delta I found that some of your competitors no longer use them and information on who the author really is was disturbing. There were grammatical errors, irrelevant information and industry "jargon" I never heard of, such as "soft close." Please review courses authored by this person and re-evaluate.

Good choices to select from.

Very good courses at a reasonable price. As a retired CPA it allows me to stay current and keep my license active.

I thought the material content was well thought out. It made getting CPE requirements done easy and focused.
