This particular article was a simple, non-condescending, straightforward reminder of simple things we can all do to be better partners, friends, and lovers. Nothing fancy or lengthy. It was a simple breath of fresh air, Common Sense reminder.

It is logical, practical & realistic advice. Despite the fact that I am a therapist, it is important to reach out to a professional when troubled. It gives you the freedom to explore your guilt and realize it wasn’t just your fault. I am still working on the guilt from breaking up the family, despite the fact that he wasn’t ready to talk about any of the problems until it was too late.

Hi Alison, thank you so much for sharing such a deeply honest and vulnerable review. It means the world to us that our article could provide comfort and a sense of clarity during such a difficult transition. As a therapist, you know firsthand how complex human emotions can be, yet extending that same grace and compassion to ourselves when dealing with guilt is often the hardest part. Please remember to be gentle with yourself as you continue to heal and process everything. We are incredibly grateful to have been a helpful resource on your journey. Wishing you immense peace and strength moving forward.
