Marina Bay SandsReviews of marinabaysands.com

Extremely disappointing experience at Marina Bay Sands. Considering the worldwide reputation of this hotel, the aggressive luxury marketing, and the price I paid (around €1,200 for one night), I genuinely expected an exceptional 5-star experience. What I found instead was a chaotic, overcrowded, highly commercialized place that felt more like a train station connected to a shopping mall than a luxury hotel. The lobby was constantly packed with people, noisy, confusing, and completely lacking the exclusivity or elegance expected from a hotel of this level. At times, it was hard to even understand where the hotel area started and where the shopping mall or public areas ended. The service throughout the stay was honestly terrible. One of the most frustrating situations happened when I tried to enter one of the restaurants inside the hotel. I was told it was only for guests who had purchased a specific lunch package. I explained that I was perfectly willing to pay separately and that money was not the issue, but they still refused me access with zero flexibility or customer care. I literally had to leave the hotel and search for food somewhere else in the city. At the rooftop restaurant near the pool, after finishing my first course, I waited approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes for the second course to arrive. Completely unacceptable for any restaurant, especially inside a so-called luxury hotel. Breakfast was another disaster. It was only à la carte, and when I explained that I have gluten and lactose allergies, instead of trying to accommodate me, the staff simply said “no” to even the smallest request. Since none of the starters were suitable for me, I politely asked if I could replace the starter with an additional main course. Again, the answer was simply “not possible.” No flexibility, no empathy, no effort whatsoever. So after paying an absurd amount of money for one night, I still had to leave the hotel multiple times just to find proper food. The famous infinity pool is massively overrated. Yes, it looks nice in photos, but in reality it was overcrowded and nowhere near as spectacular as social media and advertising make it seem. Overall, this hotel is all about hype, tourism, crowds, and branding — not real luxury hospitality. Very disappointing experience and absolutely not worth the price.

Quite the lavish experience. The pool looking down on the F1 race that happened last year, along with the garden light show was magical. Highly recommended!

We stayed one night 03:09:2024, we paid around £1000, yes for one night… a huge treat A day to remember! From checking in to end of the day, we have felt, so welcomed and a little like royalty. From noticing it was hubbys birthday, upon check in, from our passports, placing an absolutely delicious chocolate cake, with matches and candles, just because you can! to help celebrate the day. To self opening curtains, to the wonderful views of the bay gardens, so we could watch the light show, from our balcony! To a toilet with heated seat & facilities to wash your nether regions, while still on the loo ! To the little sticker on the loo roll, to the two ginormous beds, with fluffy soft pillows, with white linen sheets and thick rich carpets to paddle about in bear feet! To the humungous TV, with his lordships name on it, to welcome you. To the infinity pool on the 56 floor and to the soft white towels handed to you before you get in the pool! To the glorious views of Singapore, as you wallow in the water and contemplate, just how you got to this point in life, while looking at the skyline. To self opening curtains as you unlock your door, exposing the views of the bay gardens. Just from start to finish….. happy smiling, helpful staff, in every way, yes it’s been a real indulgent treat, but worth every moment of feeling special, it was just one night, but boy we have in every way, enjoyed every moment! A huge thankyou to The Marina Bay, for a memorable stay.

Staying at Marina Bay Sands was an unforgettable experience! The moment you step into the hotel, you're greeted with impeccable service and breathtaking views. The iconic infinity pool is everything it's hyped up to be—floating above the city with a panoramic view of Singapore is simply magical. The rooms were spacious, elegantly designed, and offered stunning views of the city skyline or the bay. The attention to detail in every aspect of the hotel, from the luxurious amenities to the fine dining options, truly sets it apart. The location is perfect, with easy access to top attractions like Gardens by the Bay, the ArtScience Museum, and luxury shopping at The Shoppes. Whether you're relaxing by the pool, dining at one of the world-class restaurants, or simply soaking in the atmosphere, Marina Bay Sands offers an unparalleled experience of luxury and relaxation. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking to indulge in the best of Singapore!
