I googled "leather near me" hoping to find a store where I could go try on some vests and things before buying them. I found mara leather in the next town over. I was, at first, disappointed to see there wasn't an actual store for me to go to. But I decided to give them a try regardless. The price was unbeatable. I figured "oh well, shipping will be quick and returns should be easy if it doesn't fit..." Well, I placed my order around 10am on a Saturday (I believe). And within a couple of hours, I had a phone call from mara leather. The man I spoke to said I was so close, it doesn't make sense to ship. And then he offered me to come by his warehouse to pick up my order, *AND* get fitted to ensure it will fit me correctly. I'm a big guy, so gauging sizes online is difficult. I had bought a western style leather vest, and sure enough, what I'd picked was too small for me. I was offered five to six different options to try on at the warehouse to find something that fit me right. Everything seemed to be too small or way too big. Again, this is very typical for me as I am shaped very oddly. However, we did find a very nice black denim vest that fit me perfectly, and I loved. Very nice conceal carry pockets, zip up and snap buttons. Looks good, feels good, and has awesome utility. I fully plan to work with mara leather moving forward for other things. I am a year-round motorcyclist in northern Virginia, so having good leathers is important, especially in winter. I'll be buying a jacket and chaps from them in the coming months. I cannot recommend this company any higher. If you're in the market for leather, DEFINITELY give them a try. The products are outstanding, the price is outstanding, and the customer service is so great. I haven't seen customer service this good in years. Keep up the good work, mara leather. You've made a lifelong customer.
