We ere supposed to go here 2/19 to 2/22/26 for our 20th anniversary trip but my mom passed away and we had to cancel. They would not let us cancel or refund us. They would not offer any support.

I had an extremely disappointing and upsetting experience at the Manhattan Hotel Times Square, and I would strongly advise others to think twice before booking here. From the moment we arrived, things were not as expected. The room was in a shocking state — there were live bugs in the bed and even on the walls, which was absolutely unacceptable. We also found opened packets of food and toothpaste boxes left on the floor near the radiator, making the room feel unhygienic and neglected. The entire space had a strong, musky smell, and the bathtub was visibly dirty. To make matters worse, the TV didn’t work, and we had to call staff three separate times before anyone came to fix it. The service throughout our stay was incredibly poor. Reception staff and the bellman were rude, dismissive, and completely unhelpful. After raising concerns, we were moved to another room and promised a suite due to the inconvenience. However, when we arrived, it was essentially the exact same room — just slightly cleaner — and definitely not a suite. We had specifically requested a city view for a special occasion, but instead were given a building view, which was very disappointing. We were then made to move rooms again, carrying two suitcases and four bags around the hotel at 10:40pm, which was exhausting and completely unacceptable, especially given the circumstances. I was told I would be reimbursed for the first night, which I already felt was insufficient compensation for the experience. However, I still have not received any refund, which only adds to the frustration. Overall, I am honestly disgusted by the condition of this hotel and the level of service we received. A hotel is such an important part of any holiday, and unfortunately this experience put a real negative cloud over what should have been a special trip. I would not recommend staying here.

I wouldn’t stay here again. The rooms are very old and outdated and not very clean there is mould in the bathroom, the shampoo and conditioner bottles were empty, my bed was broken so I slept on a slope for 5 days. The reception staff are all so rude (except the lovely blonde lady). The reception area looks lovely but the rooms definitely are not! Our room was like a sauna there was a problem with the heating. Overall a 2 out of 5 is extremely generous

The hotel shows renovated rooms and not the room they will give you which is disgusting. Broken tiles in bathroom (sharp edges ) mould in bath and basin. Soap dispensers hanging off wall. The corridor looked like damp rising up the walls from possible leaks ! We asked about changing rooms but was only offered it upgrade our room at $500 per night extra We moved to another hotel 100yards away which was a lot better condition !!

Stay was ok but they took $200 from my account and only refunded $21 I’ve tried emailing but it keeps bouncing back as address not found u told me there would be a $16 room charge to come off over 4 nites which would total too $64 so why have u taken the rest of my money we left it absolutely spotless !!!!!!!

The hotel was fantastic, and it's in a spot-on location. I booked for two nights, mainly because of the promised free parking. But, when I got there, they dropped the bomb that the free parking deal only applies if you book directly on their website. The weird part? I spotted the free parking badge on both Priceline and Booking.com. I'm scratching my head about why they say it's free but end up I have to pay an extra $90 for parking.
