I booked an interstate move to Napa Valley through Major Van Lines LLC. They acted as a broker and assigned my shipment to an unauthorized, unresponsive carrier (American Eagle Relocation).Once my deposit was collected, Major Van Lines provided zero oversight. The carrier they selected completely missed the contract delivery window and went entirely incommunicado. Calling customer service yielded no updates while my life's belongings were missing.I was forced to file formal federal complaints with the FMCSA National Consumer Complaint Database and state complaints with the California Bureau of Household Goods and Services (BHGS) just to locate my items. My belongings were finally delivered after an extended period of total silence. Do not trust this broker with your move; they take your money and hand you off to unverified carriers.

Major Van Lines relocated me from San Jose CA to beautiful West Palm Beach FL . I found them to be super nice not only from the reservation dept. all the way to Carlos and the crew on delivery. All my stuff arrived in good shape and the price I found fair. I paid $3677.00 for a 2 bedroom with some packing including for some of my TVs, china etc.

This company relocated me from Sunrise FL to Houston TX last week. The crew was very nice. I found the price quite fair for a 4 bedroom. Price only changed by $220 due to I need some pro packing of china and a TV I could not get to. Logan in the reservation dept was a true pro. Not planning on moving again but would use them again if need it .

Do not use Major Van Lines. I was given a binding estimate and signed contract for about $1,500 with a scheduled pickup window of May 20–23. Not only did they fail to arrive during the agreed dates, but they did not contact me until several days later on May 26 — the day I absolutely had to move out of my apartment. At the last minute, they suddenly increased the price to $3,000, then later lowered it to $2,700 after I pushed back. I understand that moving prices can increase slightly if there are extra boxes or additional items, but doubling the quoted price after missing the pickup window is unacceptable. I had already packed all my belongings myself, and most of my inventory was already disclosed beforehand. This situation put me under extreme pressure because my apartment would charge me if I did not move out on time. The experience felt extremely unprofessional and stressful. Be very careful before signing with this company, especially if you are relying on them for a time-sensitive move

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Would not honor their contract and cancelled the day before the move, despite having previous confirmations. Did not care that they put me in a horrible situation trying to scramble to find another mover.
