MacAllister garden equipment don’t Honour the 2 Years Warranty.
I purchased a MacAllister Strimmer from B&Q Kingsgate East Kilbride. The strimmer had a 2 year warranty as I would expect from any equipment purchased. I had the strimmer 15 Months when it broke down. I returned it to B&Q after speaking to MacAllister in Motherwell Scotland but they MacAllister informed me there that there was no warranty and also no parts for the strimmer was informed by them to return it to B&Q which I did and B&Q said when you purchased the strimmer they only guarantee it for 90 Days.,, Then MacAllister covers it for the 2 Years but as I was informed by MacAllister they were not interested which in my opinion is totally wrong and once again it’s the consumer that is out of pocket.. I will not purchase any MacAllister equipment in future and I am wary buying any more equipment from B&Q as they stressed to read the small print.. Frank Rice
