Terrible shipping and wrong plants!
I ordered two 4" hibiscus plants in April. One variety I'd waited months for it to be back in stock. The total cost for the two tiny plants and shipping was nearly $75. Logee's used the USPS to ship the plants across the country in May, when it was already warm. The plants did not arrive for three weeks, at which point they looked dead. I requested replacement plants, and was first told they could ship replacements, and then told they were not in stock. After some unpleasant back and forth with a "supervisor," they offered to refund my money. I really wanted the hibiscus I'd ordered. I managed to revive one of the plants. It flowered today- it was not the variety I ordered! Completely different, and unbelievably ugly. I did not know a hibiscus could be ugly, but this one shows it is possible. A sickly, sooty yellow. I ordered a pink and grey variety. I looked at their website and found the variety they'd sent me- not only is it something I'd never have ordered (not sure who would choose this wretched thing), but it is also significantly cheaper than the one I ordered. Terrible experience all around. I would never trust this company. The plants look good on their website, but they are insanely overpriced, use a ridiculously unreliable shipping method, and then send the wrong, and cheaper plants, which of course the customer won't discover until months later. No thanks.
