I bought some Qualtex Cooker Hood Grease Filters with saturation indicator from LM Electrical Spares Ltc vie ebay. It said there are grey stripes which become red and are visible from the downside when it is due for replacement. However, there are no grey stripes, only dots (which are already red). Additionally, I have a filter which has been in use for some time, and there does not seem to have been any change to the dots; there is only a general yellowing all over. I contacted them on ebay about this, but 3 weeks later they have not replied.
