I go back many years with Little Greene, first purchasing their paint when it could be shipped directly to the US from the UK. It is good to know that they are now readily available locally. As always the customer service is excellent. The color selection is interesting and broad. Clearly they are a superior paint. However, at the price point their US market will be limited. Unfortunately, Little Greene’s main drawback is their lack of an oil based product for use on woodwork trim, etc. Water based paints do not give the finish, durability or touch (handle) that an alkyd product does. Thus the 4 stars. I am not a professional painter, just a homeowner who values the quality of European paint and is willing to pay for it.

The colors were light and substantial. The smooth thick texture makes Little Greene paint a joy to use. It only took two coats to get proper coverage. Some brands I tried took four to five coats to cover properly and dripped. My only complaint was the sample jars were too easy to open, which isn’t much of a complaint.
