Designer Lighting and FanReviews of lightingselection.com

I was hesitant to order anything after reading reviews that suggested LightingSelection.com was a scam company. That was NOT my experience. I found two high end side tables for a price far below Wayfair. I ordered them easily online and received them within 3 days! The boxes were perfectly packaged with ample padding. And the plus.. no assembly! Don't believe everything you read. I had a great experience with LightingSelection.com. They are based out of NJ. Everything seems to be legit.

This company is a scam, DO NOT BUY. They operate under several different company names all associated with the same phone number and address. 'DECOR PRICE' 'DESIGNER LIGHTING AND FANS' & 'LIGHTING SELECTION' I purchased a fan that arrived damaged. I sent photos of the damage and was told my replacement parts would be shipping out soon. After 3 plus weeks of daily calls and emails with no resolution, I finally googled and found LOADS of stories just like mine. As of today, I'm told they accidentally shipped the replacement blades to the wrong customer and I must wait for that customer to receive and return them before they can be sent to me. We all know that Fedex can reroute packages so this further contributes to the LIES. If I return the damaged product, I am told that I am responsible for shipping costs. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE.

This company is fraudulent. They advertise new in box products and ship you used, broken products. When you try to return the product or get what you paid for, they say you have to pay to ship the used/defective product back to them and pay a 25% restocking fee. If you don’t agree with them, they harass you and your family.

I ordered a Capis Shell Chandlier thru LightingSelection.com for $519.00. My card was charged by Decor Price. The box was damaged, and the light was damaged. I tried calling many times to get a RMA for a full refund since the box was damaged. When I finally got thru, I was told that I would receive replacement parts for the chandelier. I would have to repair the light myself. I explained I cannot do this, and I am not paying for someone to fix the damaged fixture pieces. I have had 10 attempts to call, with 2 actual live conversations. I did not receive a return label to send the light back. I was told I would have to pay for shipping and insurance on a damaged light. The box also could not have any writing on it by pen or marker. The box came with writing on it. Therefore, the RMA I received is void. This company is a scam.
