★☆☆☆☆ I walked away from LiftFund because my experience was bureaucratic, inflexible, and showed remarkably little concern for me as a business owner. What should have been a $20,000 loan turned into more than a month of chasing updates, repeated paperwork, and additional requirements appearing near closing. Throughout the process, I felt like my time, concerns, and business needs simply did not matter. They instructed me to place a lien on my vehicle before their closing team finished reviewing the file. I complied. Then came more requirements and unresolved issues—with my vehicle already encumbered and no funds received. The closing documents also demanded a blanket lien on my business assets in addition to the vehicle. When I asked them to narrow the collateral language to what I had actually offered, they refused because it was their “standard format.” That response summed up the experience: the procedure mattered more than addressing a reasonable concern. I requested approximately $35,000 if they insisted on that broad collateral package. They called and denied the full amount. I declined the loan outright. As a veteran and small-business owner, I expected professionalism, clear communication, and some practical understanding of running a business. What I experienced felt like an indifferent government bureaucracy, with the borrower left carrying the inconvenience and consequences. I would not recommend LiftFund. The rate was attractive. The experience was unacceptable. I ended up with no loan, substantial time wasted, and a vehicle lien that now needs to be released. Do not work with Dina, Erika or Stephanie
