I am very annoyed with the program. I have to do Lexia at school and it frustrates me to the limit I didn’t know anyone or anything could cross. It spends the whole time asking me wether fishing is a suffix or not and also asks me how to spell fish. I understand the program is built to enhance accuracy through literacy and dig deep to what the individual is struggling with in work however , it is absolutely disheartening having to miss my lessons to go and do a program that teaches and asks me how to spell fish(I know how to spell fish f-i-s-h). I appreciate the time and effort it took to build this program and it isn’t the programs fault I am missing out on important lessons to be asked about fishing but when it is singing me songs about what a suffix is and repeatedly telling me that fishing is not a suffix , it is crossing the line. Thank you for your time and careful consideration to read this. Many thanks and I hope this problem can improve.

The Complete Annoyance That Is Lexia PowerUp: A Declaration of Serious Hatred
Lexia PowerUp is, without any exaggeration, the worst program ever invented for school. It's supposed to help you get better at reading or something, but all it really does is make someone want to throw their headphones across the room in a total rage. It’s a complete and total waste of time that drives someone completely insane every single time they are forced to use it. It is pure torture in digital form.
First off, the voice on this thing is the most annoying sound in the entire world. It’s like they found the most boring, slow-talking robot person to read the instructions. She talks like everyone is a baby who doesn't know how words work. The worst part about this audio nightmare is that you cannot skip it. You are trapped. You have to sit there, headphones on, and listen to the whole long, drawn-out explanation of something you already know how to do. It’s not just a little annoying; it’s seriously annoying. It wastes so much of the precious time available in class, and you can’t even use that time to do something useful because you have to wait for the lady to stop talking. You just sit there staring at the screen, getting madder and madder. The colors on the screen are also dumb and bland. It looks like a game from the 1990s, not something modern that's supposed to make learning fun. It’s just ugly and boring to look at, which makes the whole experience even worse.
The way the lessons are set up is the dumbest thing ever created by a human being. They make you do the exact same thing over and over until someone could scream. The "units" are endless; you feel like you're never actually finishing anything. You click "continue" expecting to be done, and it just gives you twenty more questions. It never ends. Then, they have this stupid, unfair rule about getting two answers wrong. If you mess up just twice, even by accident, BAM! You have to watch an even longer, more painful video. It’s like they are punishing someone for making a simple mistake. These videos are even worse than the intro voice. They have these weird cartoon characters and just explain the stuff you just failed at in the most babyish, patronizing way possible. After the video, you have to do, like, a zillion more practice problems to "prove" you know it. It’s so unfair and frustrating. Some of the answers are super tricky, too. They try to trick you into picking the wrong one, so it’s really easy to get those two strikes and get stuck in the video loop of doom.
And the headphones situation is another major problem. You have to wear them the whole time because all the instructions are only audio. You can't just read the directions. So, you're stuck in this headset with the annoying voice, and it makes you feel isolated from everyone else in the class. You can't talk to your friends or anything. Your ears even start to hurt after a while because the headphones are usually cheap and uncomfortable. It just makes the whole experience worse. My friends all complain about it every single time we have to use it. Everyone agrees it’s the absolute worst part of the school day. They’d honestly rather do extra homework or read a big, thick history book than do Lexia PowerUp for 30 minutes. It's that bad.
The whole thing just feels pointless. It doesn't actually teach you anything new, it just re-explains stuff we already learned years ago in elementary school. It's a massive time sink. The points you earn are dumb; they don't even get you anything good, just more boring activities. The frustration levels hit maximum capacity when using this program. It’s a total failure of technology and education.
In conclusion, Lexia PowerUp is a complete failure of a program. It's boring, the voice is terrible, the lessons are repetitive punishments that never end, and it just makes everyone who uses it incredibly mad and frustrated. It’s supposed to help people learn, but it doesn't. It just makes learning seem like the most awful, boring chore in the world. Hopefully the teacher stops making students do it soon, because it is seriously hated that much.

Overall bad app
I HATE THIS APP its always talking and annoying and I cannot handle more of this app it's so bad and it takes a really long time to finish a lesson. No one goes on it, it's so boring and it should be removed from the Universe permanently!!! Every time you get something wrong it has you redo the question without a proper explanation! and sometimes the voice and questions make me want to scream at my computer and throw it across the room. Anything other than this app is better. I would rather eat a tarantula spider than go on this. (I can't say the word its forbidden!!)

THIS SUCKS
It is so bad that I crash out. It yaps nonstop and I have to do it for more than a 100 minutes instead of doing other important homework/schoolwork. The voice is so boring that I wish this website did not exist. Also when you make 2 mistakes it takes you to a very very annoying tutorial which takes a whole eternity to do. I am in 8th grade and I still have to do this sh1t. This is also like torture, PLEASE MAKE IT STOP!!!
