The horizontal seam shows through knit clothing and looks like a panty line. Defeats the purpose of tights.

These tighs ripped at the waist the FIRST TIME I put them on. Disappointing doesn’t cover it. And I’m not rough. I was careful. But the construction at the waist is weak. On the upside, I wore them and the rip didn’t run down, just around. So there’s that. Just get Sheertex.

The tights are soft and look great. They don’t hold up as well as I would have liked. I bought a sheer gray and a sheer black as well as an over the knee pair. I have worn both sheer tights twice and they both have holes in the feet, nothing to kill them yet, but I can see they are already on their way out. The over the knee pair seems to be doing alright however. They look great and are comfy, but they’re not especially resilient. I love the company’s commitment to queer folks though.

Here are the pros ans cons of Les Belles tights: The material is soft and the tights are definitely comfortable. They seem to be durable, but I have only worn them once. The major downside of these tights is that the seat is too low and not tight enough. The first time I wore them, they slid down to the middle of my thighs. After pulling them up over and over again, I had to put my underwear on over the tights, which helped a little. I won’t buy Les Belles again. I will try sheer Tex next time.

These are beautiful tights, soft, comfortable, fit perfectly. I have several pairs and I will buy more. I DO recommend them. However - they're still tights, and they still snag and run. I snagged a pair I just opened on the edge of my engagement ring, a small snag, and the snag opened into a hole and a run just as quickly as any other pair of tights or nylons I've ever owned. So while they are beautiful and comfortable and worth owning, I would not call them durable, because they seem not to be so.

I was excited to wear these, as a friend recommended them as being very durable. I am short and fat, but the fit was great, the texture was smooth and silky, and they felt strong for a sheer nylon. However, within an hour of putting them on, a tiny splinter ripped a hole in them. I messaged customer service, as this was normal wear, and should not have produced a hole. I was hoping I could get some sort of credit, because I spent a good amount on their product. No one even responded. I would have liked to get another pair, but the experience was disappointing.

Material on leg very nice. Brief nice fit. I am 6ft 5 and they fit length wise. I got Natural 03 and they were a bit light for my skin color. Had planned to wear them to a wedding last weekend but tried them out the week before and they just weren't what I was looking for. They aren't sheer enough and have a somewhat of a powdery finish. Erika on chat said I could wear them with sandals even cause the reinforcement wasn't noticeable. Material is way to thick to wear with sandals. When I wear sheer hosiery I want the benefit of sheer hosiery (smooth and tan) on my legs to help with years of war wounds. These scream out "Hey look at me I'm wearing pantyhose!!!" If that is the look you are going for you will love them!!
