Did not give rebate 2 years ago and said it was expired. I mailed in in the proper time but they didn't get to it and now they say they can't do anything about it. -$110 In the meantime I had ordered again and it's been over 6 months waiting for a rebate that after tracking says it's about to be mailed. Called and tried to find out what happened to the first rebate and they said even though I had mailed it in it's too late to do anything about it now ?😒 After receiving my $85 rebate,I was Offered a $180 rebate on 8 boxes, got to checkout around $253.92 for the 8 boxes... Plus over $213.92 for taxes and fees (Oregon has no tax)+ 9.95 for shipping. !!! 😂 Total order $477.79 that=$59.58 per box of acuvue 2 Then wait 6 months and hopefully get the rebate of $180. ($297.79) final price. $37.22 per box. They used to be a great company !!! I loved them and always got my contacts from them 💓 For single distance only...(3.0+ near sited) I'll pass can get them from my doctors less expensive and right in hand without waiting. I'll pass

The new scam Lens.com has come up with is a “tax” according to them. An order I tried to make in the neighborhood of $200+ had a “tax and fees” attached to it to the tune of $98! When I demanded to know what the tax was (I live in a non-sales tax state) they said they didn’t know and no one else will be able to tell me. Pure illegal scam imho

Rebates are scam. I mailed 2 in different envelopes. They claim they never received either. I asked to reprocess but they require all box sides which I already sent so I cant replace. I will never use lens.com again since other people were scammed by rebate as well. I am out $220 in promised rebates

I too almost fell for the new "fee" scam. I went to check out my order and there was a "200" taxes and fees line item. I fully understand sales taxes which should have been fairly minimal, but the massive fee just to mail me my contacts? its an outrage and I will never, ever buy from these folks again.

The subtotal for my recent order of two boxes of contact lenses came to less than $100, which I thought was very reasonable. However, when ready to check out, I saw that my total came to $147, so I chatted online with customer service. Justin W. informed me where this additional charge (for 'taxes and fees', whatever that means) could be found. It was NOT easy to find this section on the webpage. You promote your low prices, but it's deceiving and poor advertising to advertise the initial low cost and then hide the additional $40 charge. I suggest you just charge extra for the order instead of hiding these added fees - I almost turned away and went somewhere else because I was bitter about this. There should be a disclaimer right from the get-go that there are additional fees involved, and the advertised cost is NOT what the purchaser will pay.

Following my yearly eye exam, I decided this time instead of ordering contact lenses directly from the doctor - I’d search for an online company in order to save money. I came across Lens.com. I must say I was intrigued by their “rebate” program and promise of fast shipping. So, after receiving my lenses, I went ahead and asked how to obtain the rebate. Unfortunately it was a download to print and mail-in form - instead of a more efficient system of applying online. So, I print the form, fill it out, include proof of purchase and mail it in. Months go by and no rebate arrives. I send an email inquiring as to the status of my rebate. Today I’m informed they never “received” my form and therefore since the allotted timeframe to in fact receive a rebate had expired. Really? Not once did they acknowledge receipt of the form, no returned mail back to me to indicate it was undeliverable. My final thoughts, I will never, EVER do business again no matter the promised savings with a company that is basically telling me I’m lying and that the rebate form was not received. Shame on Lens.com.

They're rebate system is a joke. Just got an email telling me it's time to get new contact lenses. I have yet to receive my rebate from September 2022.

Less than one star - 0 stars! Don’t worry about your rebate, tax on a $237 contact order was $197! What! Then more shipping etc fees! Total rip off!
