Deceitful
I tried to purchase 8 boxes of contact lenses to receive a qualified rebate. According to their web site, before the rebate, the item was $75.24 per box, so it should have been all together $601.92 for the price of lenses before tax or shipping fee. However, when I came to the payment screen, the total of the cost of the lenses was $1,077. I questioned this to the chat agent who said that the $476 was added as tax and handling fee. She went on to say that Lens.com offered cheapest price and they were very transparent on what they offered. This is all lies. They tried to give an illusion of good deal by adding the rebate, but the truth is that people don’t save money even if they received the rebate discount. I ordered the same items at EZContact instead. No added mysterious fee or nonsense rebate and still it was $200 cheaper than the price Lens.com offered after the rebate.
