Everything seemed to go well, until my credit card was charged about $40 more than what was shown when I ordered. Hidden fees - not disclosed during ordering or checkout

Lens.com offers a good deal on contact lenses with their rebate program, but after filing your rebate claim, you don't receive it. After about two years of trying to contact them regarding my rebates, I realized that whenever they say it will be issued in 10 days, it's just an excuse to dismiss you. I tried really hard not to post any bad reviews about them, but I eventually quit trying. Now, I realize that there are several complaints about rebates on the BBB too. I wish I had checked before buying anything from them.

it seems my order is stuck in Louisiana since July 6th. Out of contacts now and told to be patient. I ordered a month before needing and now screwed. Never again

WATCH YOUR TOTAL AT CHECKOUT!!!! I did the online eye exam, which was very convienent. BUT when I went to order my contacts, it showed my total per box was 45.74 each (no rebate). I was going to order 2 boxes, which totals 91.48, plus the 9.95 shipping, which is a grand total of 101.43. At check-out the total was $154.91 with absolutely NO explanation for the extra 53.48. When I called customer service, the lady was like "oh, that's just processing and taxes". Almost 54 dollars in fees and taxes???? Way to take advantage of your customers with your deceitful practices Lens.com. I will NEVER use this service again. Its worth paying a little more to a company that is UP FRONT about the cost and doesnt try to HIDE FEES from their customers. I ended up going to 1800Contacts and paid about $20 more, but at least I knew what I was paying for from the start! SHAME ON YOU!

They offer rebates but never deliver ! I sent in my proofs of purchase and the form and waited for 2 months, then I called to get an update, they say they never received my form. TOTAL SHAM. Avoid this company.

Extended waiting period due to Lens.com having to order my contacts. Why would a company that sells contacts have to order my contacts? This qualifies for some kind of discount.

hidden taxes and fees! When I went to checkout the price increased by 100$ for taxes and handling charges. It's not so much that they added it on, it was that it was added on in the fine print. Then, after telling them to cancel the order, which didn't go through because I didn't have the extra 100$ to buy the lenses in my hsa account, they reprocessed it a month later when there was enough money in my account. When I contacted customer support they just brushed it off like they had no control over it. If you know the fees are going to be there, just include them in your prices. don't pretend a box of lenses is going to cost 18$ when it's actually going to cost 50. Hopefully I can still get my rebate. ergh.
