I purchased two boxes of Acuvue Oasys contacts from this company. Before purchasing, I wanted confirm I was eligible to receive a rebate. I spoke with a live chat representative, who assured me that all I had to do was purchase at least two boxes of contacts to receive the rebate. After my order shipped, I went into my account to fill out the rebate form, when it said I was ineligible. This is extremely frustrating, as I was previously told I would be able to receive it. Otherwise, I would not have placed this order. I have called this company several times, and was still never given my rebate. I was told a manager was not available to speak to twice and that they would give me a call back. During one of the calls, they were able to pull up the live chat history where they confirmed that they told me I would receive a rebate. Huge scam! I would not recommend purchasing from this company.

I'm sorry. I have edited this thing 3 times. I want to assure you that I have never written a review before. I'm just so upset. My temporary contacts are shot. that being said the following is my review. Wow! One of your agents told me you would have them yesterday and you would 2 day them to me. Now you tell me it will be 2 more weeks. I ordered these January the 31, here I am being told on February 12 that it will be shipped on February 24. What a disappointment! Unfortunately, I will be in the middle of the Caribbean when and if they show up. I never would have guessed it would have taken a month but I suppose it could even be longer since the original post said they would be here on the 5th of February. My husband has this saying and maybe it is time I heed it. "Good, Fast or Cheap, Pick Two". Well they were cheap but unfortunately for me trying to get them before our cruise has been a HUGE hole in my balloon! At this point I just don't know if they will show up at all. They keep sending emails saying don't worry nothing is wrong with your order. Really? It wasn't until today that I realized their 5 star review on their site is from their own approval since there is no place to leave a review you are able to just read what they have posted. Note to self and others pay attention to the ability to place reviews if they don't allow you to post them there might be a reason, and here's your sign. I have a totally broken heart over this adventure. I don't even have time to order from somewhere else. :(

Slow, overpriced, non-refundable handling FEE!!!!!!! Bought on PayPal. They don't refund to PayPal because they are stealing your process fee!!!

Terrible experience with Lens.com. Ordered contacts waited 6 weeks before they were sent and they mixed up the prescription had to reorder waited another 6 weeks, they never arrived. I returned the wrong contacts and they harassed me with emails stating they were not returned even after I had a confirmation email that they were returned. Finally cancelled the order and deleted my account. Customer service people were always nice but never had any information so they were useless.

Ordered contacts a week ago... no communication from them. Opened a chat and just found out that the supplier will take 4-6 weeks to get them in stock.

I highly recommend that people should NOT order from this company. I have found them to be fraudulent, unfair, and just plain thieves. I ordered contacts and never received them and they refuse to refund my money until I return the contacts. How can I return something I never received? I work very hard for my money, live paycheck to paycheck like most people. To have a company charge you for a product, plus an astronomical service fee, plus tax, PLUS expensive shipping fee, and then never deliver the product and refuse a refund. I was on the phone for over half an hour and spoke to 3 different people and received 3 different stories. They took my money and didn’t deliver and refuse to give me a refund.

They had a great price on my Dailies, < $30 a box. I ordered 8 of them and when I got to the final page the other shoe dropped - $100+ "handling fee". Ok, I was pretty much expecting this. Even after that it was still a fairly low price so I placed the order. The confirmation email gave an estimated arrival time of 9 - 13 days out. After 9 days the order status still said "in fulfillment". I contacted them via their online chat facility. I was told they were out of stock and that it would be 4 weeks from the time of my order before they would ship. I cancelled my order. I am going to be without contacts pretty soon. It sure would have been nice to know that these were on backorder so I wouldn't have wasted 9 days. As to the response from Lens.com below... I rechecked my order and the processing fee was indeed $38.81. My apologies for misstating that. However, I stand by my review. The concept of a "processing fee" is on its own a deceptive pricing tactic. And I don't know this from personal experience, but from reading other glowing Lens.com reviews I understand that fee is not returned in the event a customer has a problem and requests a refund. After cancelling my order I placed the same order with a competitor on Sunday evening 1/26. Since I am running low on lenses I contacted them via their web chat facilities on Monday morning 1/27 and inquired as to the expected delivery date. I was informed "They need to be ordered from the manufacturer. That takes 1-2 business days to receive. We ship the same day we get them in." On 1/29 I received shipment notification with an expected delivery date of 1/31. How is it that it takes Lens.com a stated 4 weeks to fulfill an out-of-stock order when this company can acquire and deliver out-of-stock product within 5 days? And I say a "stated 4 weeks" because again from reading other reviews I see that slipping delivery schedules are common. I saw the Lens.com call come in. I didn't answer because it came from an 800 number which is almost always spam. After listening to the voice mail I debated returning the call. Not because I had a renewed interest in doing business with Lens.com, I was just morbidly curious as to why they would bother to call an individual unsatisfied customer. Read your reviews! They are all unsatisfied! Oh sure, I see an occasional positive review but those are so 180 degrees from most reviews. I can only surmise that they are posted by Lens.com or agents of the company. This outfit has obvious systemic problems that can't be remedied by addressing each unsatisfied customer individually. Slow delivery, exorbitant "processing fees", unfulfilled rebates, etc. The goal should be to satisfy your customer in the first place, not to call and assuage them after you p1ss them off.

The product was delivered as expected but excessive processing fees added when I placed my order was unacceptable. The price displayed on the Lens.com website is misleading because Lens.com added $51.25 in processing and $7.95 in shipping costs to a $315 order. Very sneaky and misleading. Lens.com needs to be more transparent in their pricing.
