I was a repeat customer for many years. All past orders had a small processing fee, this time it was $48. A third of the total bill. They advertised a low per box price but it is inaccurate with the larger processing fee. Will never use them again. BEWARE!!!

Order contacts of $52.13 then they charged me $61.11 for shipping - Really! It was no deal. I contacted them 3 different times for an explanation on the shipping cost on a very tiny box. Very disappointed and will go else where from now on. . .

I've ordered from lens.com in the past, but never will again. I just attempted to place an order, only to have them add a $95 processing fee at checkout. I thought it was a mistake, and upon further investigation, got some nonsensical explanation as to why they conduct their business this way. No, it's a pricing scam, plain and simple. At those prices I might as well just order directly from my eye doctor.

Well after being a loyal customer for many years, I went to the website for renewal purchase of my prescribed contacts. I order the same amount every time so I understood pricing structure. As I proceeded to check out I found that my prescription is now $60 more than the original purchase that I submitted eight months ago. As I reviewed the check out information I found a service charge for every box that I ordered. Sensing this must be a mistake I went online through the lens.com To inquire as to why service charge was being added. I was informed by the company representative that this is my best friend. Service charge of $20 a box is my best friend? Of course I stated the fact that eight months ago I ordered the same prescription and number of boxes and now I have a charge $80 more than I paid then. I was informed that that’s the price and the original price is now being marked up using a service charge in order to be competitive. I explained that I am not interested in marketing details and the scam of offering one price and then adding on more to reach the ultimate price. I am wonderingAre they going to rename the service charge, a resort fee? As a summary I told the representative that they’ve lost a long time customer I’m not interested in adding on fees or scams. 5/27/2020 Update As requested, ( by a Representative of lens.com) I called the company for some relief from the “ service charge” per box. I was told that this a handling fee. A $20 handling fee per box ?? The box is 4” x 2” x2”. This is the same explanation of a price increase per box , I received before I received a response from Lens.com via this Trustpilot.com web site. I declined their offer a second time. Let’s get real here, Lens.com your prices have increased. You can try to hide it as a service fee or handling fee or a “ resort fee” . I for one am interested in truth in pricing. Hiding price increases in service fees or any other “ ADD ON “ fees is just slimy. I understand you don’t care about my experience or feeling about truth in pricing. But in the long term this is not a good business model.

This company is completely dishonest!!! Not only did their website say they were fully stocked but I also called before placing my order and customer service rep did confirm they had my contacts in stock. I called them this morning because my contacts were supposed to be shipped out yesterday and now customer service is saying that they had to order from the supplier and it will take 4 weeks before THEY receive them!! Wow talk about wasting someone’s time. Of course they apologized but that means nothing. Furthermore don’t ever just click re-order because they will charge you significantly more then you paid last time if you got an online deal...

Will say that the contacts came quickly and were correct. In December 2019, I ordered my wife's contacts and there was a $30 rebate. It is now May 21 and I still have not received the rebate. I have talked to their "support" people 4 times, and keep getting the same answer: "your rebate is in the final stages of approval and will be mailed out within a week". I first heard this in February, and was just told it again today, May 21. I don't even care about the $30, it is about principles at this point. I thought already that there is no way I'd ever get this if I wasn't constantly asking, and reading these reviews confirms my suspicion. Never ordering from these guys again. Hope it was worth it, Lens.com!

I have used lens.com for both my daughter and me over the past few years. I just went on to reorder contacts for my daughter, and now there is a $41 processing fee. I did not order, and will not order from them again. Don't claim you have low prices and then add some ridiculous fee.

I would give them a zero if I could. Scamming customers who don’t do their research. Offering rebate but doubled the price and makes you believe you are saving when you are not. Have purchased the lenses from them before for half the price and no rebate. Shame on you for scamming people who don’t know any better. They scam people and call them and state that when you placed your order initially it is an “introductory price” but no where it states it was a an introductory price. And when you state for them to search and see other companies prices now they have nothing to say. Please everyone do your research and deter from companies like this.
