Your pricing on contacts is *incredibly* misleading. You levy hidden fees disguised as "processing" fees on the order of 100 percent of the price of the contacts. This is incredibly disingenuous and extremely misleading. What is worse is this isn't even transparent. I had to dig to figure out why my order price increased by 100$ at checkout. I don't care if the price with "processing fees" is still the lowest price on the internet. You should transparently represent your price to the consumers you are doing business with.

My main beef with this website is that they are biased towards positive reviews for the products that they sell. I purchased a type of contact lenses that were on the cheaper side. When I read the reviews on lens.com that confirmed that I made the right purchase. When I actually used the product I found out why they are so cheap. Then I read reviews at other websites and found that there were a lot more product complaints. When I submitted my negative review on the lens.com website I noticed that it was never posted. I think some funny business going on here. One, in general they want all of their products to have good reviews so that customers don't hesitate on their purchases. Two, there could be funny business going on with their suppliers. I don't really know but I know two main things. Reviews are overly positive no matter how good or bad the product is. Two, I submitted a very honest but fair review and it was not posted. Something really fishy. The obvious issue is that consumers cannot rely on the reviews on lens.com as they are a misrepresentation of the actual product. You won't know how good or bad the product is.

Didn't realize this till after I got reimbursed from insurance company... sure the Price overall was good ORDERING THE 1ST time (pretty sure that's all you get) BUT BUT BUT... the processing fee was a whopping $57 ...Ended up paying $71 for the contacts -which is all my Insurance gave me (where as I COULD have gotten $105 back).. I paid $130 total... all in all I feel I got RIPPED OFF... don't make this mistake when you order..your Insurance Co will only reimburse what the contacts cost.. NOT ANY OF THIS OUTRAGEOUS PROCESSING FEES. Live and learn.

I literally had to wait 3 weeks for my contacts. Instead of 4 boxes of 6 lenses, they sent me 12 boxes of 2 lenses. I was charged their secretive processing fee that wasn't on my original receipt but they had to add later when I asked for proof of additional charge to my card. The various boxes were an entire year apart in expiration. And if that wasn't enough, their lenses have given me an eye infection where my eye is swollen and aching. Customer service has argued with me the entire time, acknowledged the potential of sending me defective lenses but refuses to pay for the medial bill that will be attached to this mess. However if I send back the lenses they will refund my $. Why send back defective lenses? So you can profit off of selling them to someone else? Disgusting. Buyer beware

I should have checked online reviews about the hidden processing fee before I purchased. Lens.com seemed highly rated and there was no widespread complaint of dubious sales charges so I decided to order. The lens were $29.99 to I expected the total to be $60 for two boxes. When my credit card was charged for $106.92 I thought there was a mistake. I clicked my order and there was a little (i) sign over the $98.97 sub-total. The little (i) sign was a pop-up that said the processing fee was $38.99. OUCH! So beware of this site as I consider that dishonest business practice to charge the fee after the order was placed to my VISA.

I purchased 2 boxes of contacts from them, cost 49.29 each, free shipping. They charged my card 181.98 with no explanation. When I called them, they said it was a "processing charge". Convenient how they didn't mention that anywhere when I placed the order. That would be an $83.40 processing fee on a $98.58 order. What a scam. And of course, they already shipped it, so now I have to return it to them. If I don't get a full refund, I'll be contesting the charge with my bank and filing a BBB claim. They will tell you that the "processing fee" is listed in your cart at checkout, but I recreated my order and it is not listed anywhere. Total bs. I ordered from them 2 years ago and everything was fine. Never again. Way to ruin any return business. I'll be sure to advise my friends of this change as well. Response to reply: there is a double scroll bar, so the processing fee and total are not at all obvious and well hidden in the cart. Just a sleezy and deceptive way of doing business. I was a repeat customer, but I'll be returning my order and will never do business with you again. Way to ruin a once good reputation. PS- you aren't even close to the lowest price after those processing fees. Who are you kidding?
