Increase in charges
The total charge was much more than the last time I ordered. I will have to shop around next time.

Deceptive pricing practices, beware. The ordering process is designed to hide "fees" throughout. I was already fully aware of their practices and still had to go through it (without paying) 3 times to find and calculate their "fees". Worked out to $16 per box. The lengths they go to in order to obfuscate what they'll charge you are remarkable. Specifically, they *combine* taxes and fees into line item, which I wonder if is even legal. You will NOT be able to know the fees charged until after you pay, or if you contact customer service and they'll send you an actual breakdown. They stand firmly and almost proudly behind their policy. This is from their 05/31/2023 resposne here on BBB: "Fees are compensation for servicing your order. Other sites pack all their costs into the per-box price. We don't. We keep our per-box price as low as possible. We cover our costs and overheads in the processing fee rather than hiding them. With us, the amounts the customer pays are lower, even with the processing fee. This fee is on all of our orders and is not refundable. It is also subject to increase and decrease as the cost of operation changes." It may be true that with certain rebates and promos, the ultimate cost (months later, once receiving the rebate) may be lower than elsewhere. But trying to pass junk fees - so loathed that Congress is preparing legislation to ban them - as a "feature", is one brazen move. PS If you use vision insurance that has contact lens "allowance", note that they will typically deny the fees portion of any such claim, making purchasing from a junk-fee vision vendor like Lens.com even worse.

$43 for fees is outrageous. Great prices for the contacts. Easy to use the website but when you check out, double check the price!! 2 boxes of contacts for $54 each end up being $80 each because of "fees" or "convenience fee" which is ridiculous! My order should have been around $125 with tax and shipping but came to $162. Not happy at all. Won't be using them again.

Blatant deceptive and false advertising. I did not order from Lens.com. Advertised and got Quote Air Optix Astigmatism 4 boxes $37.50 each AFTER $75 Rebate (should be net total $150). But when view Checkout actual BILL including $10 mailing is $303 before Rebate. So AFTER $75 Rebate and $10 Mailing net 4 Boxes is $228, which is actually $54.50 per Box (NOT $37.50).

First of all, I never had a problem with the quality or delivery from this company. I always got a rep to answer my phone calls. As others have stated, the problems were with the promised 'rebate' and misleading terms. It took them 5 months to send my rebate card They blamed it on 'supply chain' issues..?? This was well after covid shutdowns ended. My last order, I mistakenly assumed I was getting the usual rebate, but when I got my order (90 daysx2) I was told that they were only offering rebates for triple that amount. Also, as others have indicated, the final cost is not clear until you actually place the order. I've used lense.com for years, but will no longer be buying from them---I'll spend a few extra few bucks a month and buy through my local optometrist.

Attempted to place an order that totaled $110.08. At checkout the 'taxes and fees' totaled 51.48. My state tax is 7.98. My state tax is not what is charged instead, a tax recovery fee is assessed plus what ever else they see fit to apply. The fees that cannot be explained per the agent I spoke with. It is a poor policy. I took my business elsewhere.

it has been <6 months since I submitted for the rebate...website says it took 2 month to even reach processing and still no end in sight...just the "form letter" replies from my 1st call 6 weeks ago, and again today, the delay is absolutely ridiculous .... at 75 years of age I hope I have my sight long enough to see if it ever arrives :-((

Rebate is a scam! Rebate tracker still says from 8/22/22 that it’s in “processing” that’s 6 months and nothing. When I call they just tell me there’s nothing they can do. order 2117211292. You guys can all check it for yourself on the rebate center site located on the company’s footer. (Trustpilot doesn’t let me paste links)
