Lens.com doesn't honor rebate
I purchased contact lenses from Lens.com because the advertised $135 mail-in rebate made the price competitive. I complied with all rebate requirements, mailed the submission within the stated window, and have photographic proof of what I sent. Tracking was listed as optional on the rebate form, and I followed the instructions exactly. The mail piece was miraculously “lost”, which seems to be a recurring excuse based on numerous complaints. USPS could not locate the "missing" mail piece, but I filed a claim and provided documentation. Despite this, Lens.com refused to honor the rebate or assist in resolving the issue with their rebate partner, RebateCard.com. Both companies pointed me back and forth, leaving me without resolution. The Better Business Bureau already shows a pattern of similar complaints about Lens.com rebates being denied due to “lost” mail submissions. This appears to be a systemic issue and raises serious concerns about deceptive practices. Advice to Consumers: If you’re relying on a rebate to make your purchase worthwhile, think twice. Lens.com does not stand behind its promotions, and customer service offers no real help.
