A review about more than buying a car.
I need to review something will shock most: a car dealership. My Lexus 360 GX left me with a “trash ready” transmission in the middle of Hwy 71 right in front of Leif Johnson Ford in Austin. On a Saturday no less, they let me park it there! While I desperately searched for its transport from Austin to Houston. After numerous calls to wreckers & towing services, I finally tried a nationwide transportation company & made what I thought was an appointment for a Monday pickup. Then they called me & said the could pick up that evening. Come 8PM, nothing. Had to apologize to Amanda. Come Monday, NOT A WORD: no text, no call, no email. And while I had to duck my head in shame & contact Amanda again. I also had to search for my car, as the original transport company told me they thought it was lost. My wife found a company called Mazzy, & they picked it up Tuesday AM & got it to my transmission place in Pearland, TX. Finally, I got to call Amanda with good news! As in our regular prayers my wife & I thank God for Amanda & Courtland, we bless them having such servants hearts. I’m sure some will say, “Awwwwh son any good manager would have done the same”. Ha! I had just made several trips to Austin to get the best salesman & deal I thought I could for another car I had just purchased that day. It was not a Ford. And, Amanda & Courtland knew this. Throughout visits to this other car dealership, including that day we were driving out, I never ONCE saw the General Manager. Soooo, is Amanda special…bet your sweet bippy! Someone was paying to the bank of integrity & friendship. Cast your bread my friends, cast your bread.
