I am a recent graduate of Learn to Transcribe Academy. I started this course a year after graduating high school; I was 19 years old. When I first seen this course advertised I had done some deep research to make sure that the course was legit and not some random website that puts up false advertising. Starting this course was the best decision I have made thus far. Linda is an amazing teacher. While not going to a physical classroom and having thousands of students online; she answers all of your questions in a timely manner and is so understanding with every question that comes her way. I have not only learnt the art of transcription, but I have also learnt more about the English language then I could ever imagine. The course load is heavy, and for the price you pay for the course itself; the price should be way more. There is so much information provided in this course. Everything you need to know plus more. For a course solely online you would not expect the amount of practice you are provided with. It really helps to get you prepared for your tests and to understand the different techniques you can use to master the art of transcription. I really appreciate Linda's hard work and dedication to this course and her students. I would recommend her to anyone. I have not only met a good teacher, but I have gained a great friend. Thank you Linda!!!!!!!

Thank you for pushing me to do my best, Linda. I loved your course and listening to you... you have the sweetest voice! The diversity of the assignments were so well constructed, and I appreciated how you consistently kept all material interesting and relevant. I was impressed the whole way through.

I loved the course! I was able to pause and pick it back up when it was convenient to me. The instructor is supportive and genuinely wants you to succeed. She is clear in her instructions as to what the expectations are.

Good afternoon: I wanted to share my thoughts on the Grammar and Punctuation class with Ms. Linda Wilson. She touches on the spell checker, auto corrects, smart quotes and legal terms/phrases. This is a self study course. There are videos with step by step instructions. I actually downloaded and printed everything I could and placed in 3-ring binders for future reference. Also, I took the quizzes and of course, I printed the certificate of completion! 😁 I found this to be very helpful and informative. But, what I liked best about this course is I could do it at "my own pace". 👌

This course was exactly what I needed at the right time in life. I signed up on a whim. I live in a rural area with zero job opportunities, and I just needed something. What an unexpected surprise. I will be forever grateful for Linda and the amount of work she puts into this course. The course itself was incredibly well put together. You will have all the knowledge you need entering the job feild. I went into the course with no knowledge of transcription, and so far I've been successful in my apprenticeship which Linda kindly offers at the end of the course. I was so gratefully surprised with how well it was put together. Even though I had high expectations going in, it far exceeded what I thought was possible from an online certificate course. Coming from a university background, it was more informative and formatted than a lot of university courses I've taken. In all, I truly love my job. I am so excited to wake up everyday and get to work. And as long as you have the dedication, will, and work ethic to succeed, Linda will give you the knowledge and push to make that happen.

This is my review of the legal transcription course at Learn to Transcribe Academy where I am a current student. My experiences with the instructor have been very positive ever since I started the course. Whenever I've had a question, the instructor has always gotten back to me with the answer. I find that she is very kind, professional, helpful and easy to get along with. She inspires me to succeed and graduate. I cannot thank her enough for what she has done and is doing. I hope to meet her one day and give her a big hug. As for the course, I am very happy with the course content. The videos and handouts are easy to follow and understand. I like the practice assignments which are to get me ready for the real world. I am looking forward to the day I graduate and start my apprenticeship. And then a new career working from home. I highly recommend the course and the instructor with no hesitations.

I have just completed my course training with Learn to Transcribe. I am onto the paid apprenticeship next! This course took me six months to complete at a part-time pace. I dove into this without knowing much about legal transcription at all. I've learned so much over the past few months. The course is well organized and structured in a very user-friendly way. I'm very much looking forward to my new career. For anyone on the fence about taking the course, I assure you that if you have the self-motivation to complete an online course, you should go for it! There is overwhelming support from your peers and the instructor herself. The instructor is also very involved in the course and your success in the program. She is open to feedback from her students and has adjusted a few things in the course to suit us better. She has built a great community of peers, so you definitely don't feel alone with the learning curve.

For a few years I'd been searching for a part-time job to help supplement my income. I heard about this course on TikTok and it ended up being a perfect fit for me.
