LavazzaReviews of lavazza.us

Scammed by this company. Pre-ordered Tabli June 9 for August 10, 2026 release. Even called customer service 10 days ago and was assured it would ship on August 10. It never shipped and they lied to me.

We did a subscription with Lavazza for a number of years because of price (under 60 dollars for 3 bags or 6.6 lbs) and the need for dry beans for our Jura S8. Not once did we receive even one bag that the roast date was not over 3 months old. Recently, what has prompted this review, our subscription was shipped February 11th and it has still not been received-today is March 8th. I contacted these (lazy) people starting two weeks after the subscription order was shipped-keep in mind we’ve been members for years and the orders never took more than 7 days to arrive (we live in Texas). I contacted them 4 times letting them know we were running out of coffee. One response after two weeks was thanking me for contacting them and to let them know if we have a delivery issue? Every one makes mistakes but the cost to keep a loyal customer, like realizing a subscription customer’s order has not been received (their website shows subscription orders in progress) and not do something about it is a sign of this company’s priorities. Really? 60 dollars? Why not reach out to the customer and let them know you mean something? Why not send another order after one week when over a dozen previous orders took less than a week? Amazon direct orders is the only thing keeping this company afloat. The good news is we started ordering from Nicoletti coffee from the Bronx. Wow!! What a great surprise!! They roast coffee every day and ship two day delivery!! We ordered 4 lbs at midnight on Wednesday, February 25th and received it Monday, March 2nd!! And it was roasted the day before we ordered it-February 24th!! And the beans are dry to use in our super automatic Jura S8!! Buy Nicoletti “Old School” instead of this harsh bean and get it just days later AND has a roast date of less than a week!!

The espresso coffee quality isn’t the same as it seems like the grinds are not as fine as the one imported from Italy, which has an impact on the flavor/notes. The US manufacturers need to refine their process and make the espresso packs have a similar grind consistency as to the Italian version. When it’s too coarse the latte/cuppachino tastes more watered down. I’ve always enjoyed the canned espresso grinds but decided to buy the bulk packs from the American manufacturer and it was NOT the same quality. Please improve!

As mentioned by another reviewer, shipping is not the fastest, and so I couldn't give a 5/5 star rating. My orders typically take about 2 weeks to arrive. However, the price for pods is comparable to the lowest sale price/pod I've ever seen in the store. And I really like their Classico coffee. So, if you like their coffee and want a good price, you may want to plan in advance for the not-so-fast shipping.
