This company canceled my order without any correspondence at all. I placed an order online after waiting months for the sale prices. Received the confirmation email, and then nothing ever shipped for weeks. I eventually logged in to check the status and it showed that the order had been canceled. After multiple days of trying to contact them and waiting on a response, I was eventually sent an email saying that it was because of a recent charge dispute. A dispute that was MONTHS before, had been settled with my bank, and had absolutely nothing to do with this transaction. Nonetheless, the cancellation stood and they felt it totally unnecessary to inform me that I was sitting around waiting on a package that was never coming. Unfortunately I have spent a significant amount of money with this company over the years. It appears that I’ll be looking for a new supplier for 5.11 pants and body armor/carriers.

Called an left a message for Mark. No response back and its been weeks. It was about the gimmick $100.00 wine voucher that they put in the pants. They should not do that because that is all a gimmick to get your info. I do not tolerate that bullcrap.

Received order (nearly a week late) pants didn’t fit even though I ordered them the same size…and even bigger as LA Police Gear Pants I already have and still fit.

Return cost me $15 and I still haven’t received the refund. Imagine returning something that originally cost you $16, you might get $1 back. For a company as big as LAPG, returns should be free.

Love LAPD, love the gear. I order duty rig, baton and cuffs as I was about to begin LEO academy. Ordered on a Thursday night, didn’t ship for 5 days, then took 4-5 days to arrive. C’mon now. I’m not expecting amazon overnight here, but not shipping for 5 days! Taking 9 days from order date to arrive. Thats sad. The young lady from customer service was amazing.

Order took 7-8 days to receive versus the advertised 4 days per their website. Packaging of the level 3 Ceramic type plates was abysmal. Package came apart during shipping . Simple self sealing manilla envelopes were not closed. Very thin layer of bubble wrap and envelope on one plate were torn open. Overly large, minimally taped, non padded box was squashed and torn. When spending well over $200 on a fragile purchase, I expect it to be packed better. Per their support team( who never seemed overly concerned, and only mild apologetic about the sub par packing) , it will take 2-3 weeks for a replacement, and up to 4- 5 weeks to refund my purchase. To do either I will have to drive across town to the nearest Fed Ex to return the level 3 plates . It is impossible for me to visually identify if the ceramic plates were damaged, an no offer of helping to review the item for damage was offered. Nothing else was offered by the company to compensate for my time and or displeasure. If they had even offered to throw in a discount coupon or a couple of velcro patches with a heartfelt apology, I could recommend this company. As of now I cannot.
