Extremely Disappointed with Lancôme’s…
Extremely Disappointed with Lancôme’s Customer Service and Lack of Accountability I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Lancôme. I placed an order totaling approximately $298, and my products never arrived. For a purchase of this amount, I expected a much higher level of service, accountability, and customer care. After contacting the company to report that my order had never been delivered, the only compensation offered was to ship my products with the next day's shipment. I found this response completely unacceptable. I paid for my order in good faith, and the fact that my products never arrived should have been taken seriously and resolved appropriately. During my conversation with customer service, I was told that a supervisor would contact me regarding the situation. However, despite that assurance, no supervisor ever contacted me. This lack of follow-through is extremely disappointing and only reinforces the impression that Lancôme does not value me as a customer. Not only did I experience the frustration of paying for an order that never arrived, but I was also left without a satisfactory resolution or even the courtesy of a follow-up from management. For a company with Lancôme's reputation, I expected far better treatment. A $298 purchase is not insignificant, and customers deserve to be treated with respect, transparency, and accountability when something goes wrong. What disappoints me most is not just the failure to deliver my products, but the way the entire situation was handled. Offering only next-day shipping as compensation, then promising management follow-up that never happened, demonstrates a lack of customer care and concern for customer satisfaction. I will never purchase from Lancôme again. This experience has completely changed my perception of the brand. I believe a company's true character is revealed by how it handles problems, takes responsibility for its mistakes, and treats its customers when things go wrong. Unfortunately, Lancôme has failed on all three counts in my experience. I hope this review serves as a warning to other customers and encourages Lancôme to reconsider how it treats the people who support its business. I expected better, and I will be taking my business elsewhere.
