Had me provide all kinds of info & receipts, admitted product was bad and told me to throw away and never bothered to offer a replacement. Faux customer service.

Online order overcharged me, and messed up the shipment
I purchased two boxes of one pound praline on Nov. 23rd when Lammes advertised was one of the sale dates. The online order didn't honor the on sale price of $19.95. I was charged $25.25 a box. That is $10.60 I was overcharged for two boxes. I also purchased a box of dark chocolate that was charged $24.45, which was priced in-store of $18.45. Altogether I was overcharged $16.60 plus taxes.
I bought the candies for my sister's birthday. I requested to be shipped on the 26th of November. I didn't hear from Lammes of the shipment so I sent an email on the 27th. Fortunately the email was responded. They totally forgot my order. It was finally shipped on Dec. 2nd. At least my sister got her late presents.
I will not order Lammes candies online again. I don't recommend anybody do so either.
Suggestion to Lammes: If you cannot handle online purchasing don't offer it.

Hi Ms. Lee, thank you for the opportunity to clarify.
You did receive the Texas Chewie Pecan Praline sale prices. The $19.95 per box you are referring to was the in-store sale price. Our Mail Order sale prices include handling that helps cover costs associated with shipping. We regret that you felt you had not received the correct price.
Additionally, we did receive your e-mail on 11/27 at 10:59 PM CST, which is past our operating hours. The next day was Thanksgiving, so we responded on 11/29 at 8:33 AM CST notifying you that the reason your order was not shipped on Nov. 26 was because the order also contained chocolates and was shipping to CA, which is a 4 business day ship point from Austin. With the Thanksgiving holiday, we knew it would not be delivered until Dec 2 and did not want to risk your gifts melting in transit, as it would sit in the UPS truck over the weekend. It's unfortunately still very warm in Texas and we take great care in ensuring our confections are delivered with integrity. We had not received an e-mail reply.
Our deepest apologies for any miscommunication or misunderstanding. We absolutely see room for improvement and truly do try as best as we can to ship on the exact day specified; however, we unfortunately cannot guarantee it, as weather conditions are sometimes difficult to anticipate.
We take great pride in our ability to serve you and would be happy to speak with you either by telephone at 512-310-1885 or by email at [email protected].
Thank you for your time Ms. Lee!

Nope
Took forever for my order to be sent out, and forever for customer service to respond to my complaints. Was offered a tiny gift card as compensation, which was not enough to even cover shipping on another order (as if I’ll be ordering again).
Very disappointing experience, as this was a gift for my grandmother’s birthday. She’s been taking me to Lamme’s since I was a kid, and even though I move across the country I was trying to keep the tradition alive. My order arrived 2 weeks after I ordered it and 1 week after her birthday.

Hi Mr. Whitfield,
We truly are sorry about the 1 week shipping delay you experienced, and genuinely understand your frustration. As someone who grew up with Lammes Candies, you probably know how important family and celebrations are to us!
Our team is able to report that this rare occasion did lead to a change in the way we communicate shipping blackout dates to our customers. Typically we are able to process orders within 1 business day, but as our customer support agent had mentioned to you, May 1-3 we were closed for inventory and could not process your order. Since we do not ship over the weekend, it was sent on Monday, May 6 and delivered May 7. We did send a gift card to cover the cost of shipping.
Thank you again for your patronage, we do hope you'll give us another chance.
Kind regards,
Your Lammes Support Team
