I have been with lafcu for around 7 years. Never have been overdrawn and informed them from the beginning that I am opted out of their "courtesy pay" program so as to not over draw my account. They let 3 items charge to my account for less them $30 all together and charged me $90 to do so. It makes no sense. They r not supposed to pay anything if I dont have the money. I called and was told that the charges are valid (they are not) and that they would not make any changes to the charges. Its absolutely ridiculous! I am closing my account and am going back to chase bank. They are a much better financial institution.

I recently joined the LA Federal Credit Union only to find out all loan applications are immediately sent to the Glendale Branch. This office has no customer service skills and no compassion for its customers. It is only job is to kill community consumer loans with any personal or human interaction at all. They say they offer hardship loans but only provide them for family and friends. This Credit Union isn’t a place to find compassion, but rather people who only see you as credit score nothing more.
