Kilo.Health offered to market my product SleepHackMe for me. They then created fake reviews and fake statistics about effectiveness of the product and started running ads, charging customers and not refunding them before the product was even close to existing in order to "test" if the product would take. They stated over 14000 people have taken the course. When 0 people have. They say the course has a 4.8 out of 5 star rating from 358 people when it has zero ratings. They continued to do this despite my repeated request to stop as this is unethical especially for a medical product. They put the BBC and business insider logos on the website to trick people into thinking the course has been mentioned there when it hasn't. They are due to change the site to another name. Their sleep expert Dr Newman MD does not exist. The picture is fake. The reviews from Caran, John and Rachel are fake. The facebook user reviews are fake. The CEO, CMO, and my product managers use unethical marketing practices and ignored my requests to stop marketing my product.

Dear Oliver, Thank you for your in-depth comment which led our team to take another glance at the situation and, hopefully, make it more clear for both sides. We tried to reach out to you and sent a few emails. Just in case you haven’t read them yet, we’d really appreciate receiving a reply! It’s way much easier to communicate directly. Our team would like to point out that we have offered you to advertise your product, which we believe is great and deserves to be discovered by a lot of people who struggle with sleeping issues. We did charge the customers during the test phase and we are extremely sorry to see that some of them didn’t receive their orders. However, some technical issues occurred causing the deliverability disruption and, sadly, we were not able to fix them right away. We’d like to emphasize that in such situations, our team issues refunds and did issue refunds for customers. Our customer service team is more than happy to assist, especially, in such extraordinary cases which rarely occur, but require special attention. We also checked our previous communication and found out that all emails received from you have been replied to. Our team is sorry if some of the replies took a little bit longer than expected, however, they were definitely sent. In the future, we’ll make sure to prioritize such correspondence and we’re sorry If that affected our cooperation. Once we received your request asking us to stop advertising under the name of your brand, we agreed on that and stopped running our ads immediately. To add up, the website is no longer available and can’t be accessed. Let us apologize for all of this situation which is greatly unpleasant for both sides, and we do hope that this message will help us to receive your reply via email.
