STAY AWAY FROM KEVANT & LANE
In my opinion, Lane is not a guy I feel who can be trusted. First, he told me that his company Kevant is a corporation. But I found out in fact it was not after looking for it on the secretary of state website. After repeatedly telling me he had a company I saw through that and called him out on it and then he gave me some other company name he had but it was not Kevant like he told me it repeatedly was. Then he gave me a quote for a project and was way off. He told me he wanted to a high level analysis document but in my opinion his document had nothing useful in it and I don't feel it was even structured the way that document should have been and was missing analysis. I feel he then used that as a way to charge me money just to do this quote because that document was useless to me and then he tripled the quote to me saying he misunderstood! Then he flaked out and said he can't do anything due to his sick wife! He wasted so much of my time..gave me a useless document and was not truthful about his company being a corporation. And the references he gave were former workers not even people who did work for...STAY AWAY! ps. He has threatened to take steps against me for writing this review!!!! This shows the kind of person he is! STAY AWAY!!!

Interestingly, in our draft contract, you listed Serendipity App as a corporation, whereas, according to the California Secretary of State business lookup, it is registered as an LLC. It appears there may be some confusion regarding the type of company you own, and I have requested further details to clarify this matter, but have yet to receive them from you. Concerning the high-level analysis document, I apologize if it did not meet your expectations. Our aim is always to deliver work of the highest quality, and I understand your disappointment if the document did not provide the level of analysis you had anticipated. It is worth noting, however, that despite your dissatisfaction, which was not communicated during our previous interactions, you continued to pursue Kevant as your chosen vendor for a project that was significantly more costly than the analysis itself. This marks the third time you have engaged in attempts to build your app. I strongly believe that until you adopt a more respectful and professional approach, you may encounter difficulties in achieving success in a professional business environment. Treating individuals with unfounded insults and threats, while assuming a position of superiority, is unlikely to yield positive outcomes. I would also like to address the matter of my availability. I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused by my inability to commence work on your project due to personal circumstances involving my sick wife. It was an unforeseen situation that demanded my immediate attention, and I understand the frustration it may have caused. I apologize for any time wasted or inconvenience experienced as a result. Regarding the references provided, as we discussed, I provided you with a reference for a project that closely aligned with your requirements, and the individual I referred you to was well-acquainted with our technical capabilities. Furthermore, I would have been more than happy to provide additional references upon your request. I genuinely value your feedback, and I take your concerns seriously.
