This is the streaming platform for leftists. Good luck looking for anything the doesn’t skew heavily left. I went into the documentary section and found a subgrouping for America250 docs. It was all name and shame type documentaries. Very few that celebrated America. Instead, docs about Native Americans and slavery.

So I came across Kanopy and gave it a shot on an older movie. First hour was great ... came back later to finish, and it would not quit buffering and stalling out. So irritating. So far..... Not impressed at all.

Kanopy is a great concept when it works and therein lies the problem. Also, you have to re-register every 12 months so make sure you write down your Library card number, your password and now they require a PIN - which seems to be a new thing that they haven't told their clients about. As I say it's good when it works, but just when you want to watch something it starts asking for details that were already in the system and if you get them wrong it "blocks" you and you actually have to speak to a staff member.
