This is the second year of being insured with K9Cover. My dog has pre existing conditions so was limited on insurance cover. But they covered him for a max of £2k per year for those (£8k overall). I’ve made claims last year, and this, and they’ve been prompt to pay. The cost to insure only went up by £10 the second year too, which I was impressed with, having made claims. Have no complaints so far.

WARNING Be very aware of this company! They advertise they cover pre existing medical conditions on their advertising. When I applied & joined it did give me the option of adding previous on their website. Customer service is absolutely diabolical! Staff are very rude and after many many emails and phone calls I got 2 responses! Basically after being with them 6 months they then said they would not cover my pets condition of seizures! DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY Customer service agent STEWART RIOCH NEEDS SACKING

Very poor customer service. Do not respond to email correspondence or telephone messages. K9 show a total lack of support to customers and recognising customer loyalty

NO COMPANION!! I had a claim going though for my baby girl(French bulldog),when very suddenly she passed away It was very tromatising and a was very upset When I contacted K9 to let them know they were very sympathetic but as I learnt it ment nothing!! This is a muli million pound company yet still took it upon themselves to take the remaining premiums from the insurance payout as they knew she had passed and I would be cancelling the policy This is terrible practice 😕 THERE ARE BETTER COMPANIES OUT THERE STAY AWAY!!

Absolutely shoddy service. Hide behind emails. Can't get in touch with the claims team. They never call you back. They don't provide updates on the progress of your claim. Customer service is appalling. If I didnt have an existing claim on going I would move insurers.
