We have just purchased a JVC television for the bedroom because we have a 15-year-old JVC and it is still brilliant and based our purchase on this. The problem is that each time we use the remote control for the air con the TV comes on or goes off. There are far too many functions for which you have to register each function for it to work and that includes BBC1 &2 ITV 1 & channel 4 etc. The functions that do matter are not there ie fast forward. When I delved deeper the old TV was manufactured in Japan and the new TV utensil China. I would suggest purchasing an old JVC from auction sites and you will know this will work, that is if you want a JVC otherwise steer well clear.

Constantly having to turn TV off and on again- issues with Internet connectivity. Also issues responding to the remote and sometimes screen and sound mismatch. TV is less than 18 months old so would definitely expect better!

JVCAndroid TV. Price was the only good thing about this TV. Freezes constantly. Switches to Freeview / Sky app by itself and the remote is useless. I'm sorry I didn't spend the extra and get one that works properly.

the tv works well picture good sound ok then it ends getting into hdmi was not so easy and inconsistent the tv work ok with sky but when link up to a laptop works at first then not the next. Also i ask for a tv that i could get the internet on this is very misleading as they control the sites that you can go and did not do what i expected overall very disappointed

Slow working, complicated to use, just had remote update and all changed to operate, fed up with it.

do not buy this bloody tv.it takes ages to respond to commands,and ages to turn itself on.absolutely rubbish.and the voice command it takes ages as well.. very very slow processor of commands.

Picture ok but could not watch Netflix or Amazon prime due to wifi connection causing picture to jump or netflix disconnecting. Tried cable directly into router still the same .TV returned as not fit for purpose.

Had a JVC tv had it a year and then issues with remote not connecting to tv had issues with tv being unresponsive. It’s finally packed up after 3 years... not really what I expected for how much I paid for it although these days maybe this is the normal life of a tv. Will never buy JVC again!
