Never having worn Juzo compression…
Never having worn Juzo compression hose before, concerned with my arthritis, if I would be successful with an open toe going up to my thigh daily. I needed help initially, from the local Medical Supply store, that measured what the Surgeon recommended, thigh length for my varicose veins. The first pair were too large, but the paper insert helped to get the hose on. When I returned to the Store and they approved a lower size to order, It helped when they spoke of the glue to keep the thigh length upright. It also helped to learn the hose needed washing every 2 days maximum and use of a dryer to keep them functioning adequately! I learned quickly, I needed to take the need for them seriously and not give up initially on the difficulty to get them thru the heel. When I first did it successfully. I was so proud of my achievement I phoned Juzo, to share my thrill. They had good tips, because I go 6 days weekly to the Y. Five days I have aerobics for 2 hours, 2 classes Mon-Fri and wanted the hose to stay upright , I walk a mile on the track the 6th day. it was helpful to know the dryer could take 20 min to dry my hand washed hose! It was a work in progress knowing for 90 days I will need to wear them, and continue to take it seriously and not give up until it worked well ! I am in my second wk now wearing them and feel I am a real pro now. The hose and I work better as the days progress. Thanks Juzo for all the assistance You provided and upbeat attitude for encouragement ! Doris Weller
