When I started the program, I was… Overwhelmed, tired, ready to walk away from a job I loved - though I knew if I did I would have all the responsibility again - I was in a cycle. I was highly over achieving, over functioning, and over helping. I felt the weight of the world, and the COVID response on my shoulders and my nervous system was out of whack. The woman I am now is… present, loving, trusting, kind, calm, and clear. She is a wiser strong version of who I was. I recognize the important role my pitfalls played in surviving a pandemic as a leader in pubic health, and now I know how to slowdown. I know I have the tools and ability to COME BACK TO ME if I find myself wobbling or going back to old patterns. I feel my feelings, I know the importance of letting people show up and how to do it. I contribute to the world - I am not responsible for it. I am responsible for what is mine and I let everyone else be response for what is theirs. I know how to build and lean into pillars of support. I ask for help to grow and give to others. I filter my decisions through my big rocks. I lead from within - I am a stronger mom, wife, supervisor, and leader. Through this program the weight of the world has been lifted from my shoulders and my nervous system reset.

The woman I was before I joined this program was on a perpetual burnout cycle. Work was all consuming, I felt stuck on a hamster wheel, and was always pushing myself to do more and achieve more. Julie's program found me. I was overwhelmed, burnt out and had been through some trying times.
