New vial
Hello. I received my new vial of semiglutide. The vials are completely different. The amount in the new vial is substantial less than the others I have received by 1/2. This new vial also has added b12. I've never had this happen before so unsure of what to do next. My former vials have last at least 3 months. I'm just not sure how this happened or what to do now.

Thank you for reaching out. We understand why this would be concerning. We work with multiple licensed pharmacy partners, and from time to time the pharmacy, formulation, concentration, vial size, or packaging may change. As a result, your new vial may look different from previous orders. The semaglutide formulation you received does contain Vitamin B12, which may also cause the medication to appear different than what you have received in the past. This is a change that some of our pharmacy partners have implemented. It's also important to note that the physical size of the vial or the volume of liquid may be different while still containing the prescribed amount of medication. Because concentrations can vary, a smaller volume does not necessarily mean less medication. You are purchasing the vial of medication, and how long it lasts depends on your approved dosing schedule. If your previous vials lasted approximately three months, that may have been related to the dose you were taking at the time. We would be happy to review your specific prescription and dosing instructions to ensure everything is correct. If you have questions about your dosing or the formulation change, we also recommend scheduling a complimentary nurse follow-up call for personalized guidance.
