Jay Clue is incredibly passionate about conservation and photography making for an amazing experience! His wealth of knowledge has no bounds and he's very welcoming, opening up endless possibilities for those both in the diving and photography world. I'm already signed up for two more dive trips with him and am eager to continue to join him around the world and improve my own skills. Thank you, Jay!

Jay Clue is a gifted, award winning photographer, fantastic teacher, passionate conservationist and most importantly a genuinely good human! He is talented both as a diver and a photographer yet still manages to be insanely humble and generous with his knowledge. I can't recommend Jay highly enough if you are looking to up your photography game by magnitudes while having the time of your life adventure. I met Jay on a dive boat in Revillagigedo Archipelago, MX. He was on a professional photo shoot on his own yet still open to sharing photography tips with total strangers, including me. He's so approachable and so passionate about nature and photography that it's contagious to everyone around him. Fast forward, I've now completed three separate photography workshops with Jay all over the world. Jay is my Yoda of photography. I've learned so much from him about key photography skills, post processing tools and most importantly how to approach underwater photography in balance with nature, which has allowed me to capture fantastic images of animals in their natural environment. Jay is also an award winning top side photographer and astrophotographer. Most of my photography experience with Jay has been underwater but I 100% plan to join his land based photography workshops in the future. He's gifted in capturing "the way of light" and sharing that knowledge with as many like minded adventurers willing to learn! I hope you see you in Jay's next workshop & see your shots too!

I highly recommend taking a trip or class with Jay! Over the last 5 years of dive and land trips, he’s been my go-to for gear advice and photography guidance. He introduced me to astrophotography and explained the concepts so clearly that I can now successfully shoot the Milky Way on my own. He's knowledgeable, helpful, and an excellent teacher.

I have had nothing but a great experience working with Jay. His mentorship has been instrumental in my transition to a career in photography. He is very knowledgeable both about photography techniques and the business aspect, and he is intentional about making sure you’re getting what you need out of the mentorship relationship. Cannot recommend enough!

Underwater photography has always been something I've had an interest in, but have never had the time to properly invest learning the nuances of the genre. Because I didn't have time to take the trial and error approach, I contacted Jay with hopes of fast tracking my learning. Jay was able to take into consideration my existing photography experience and adapt the learning for the specific goals I had hoped to achieve. I honestly wasn't sure what to expect, but I really appreciated his approach and ability to adjust so I was able to make the most of our time. Highly recommended for photographers of any level. Thanks, Jay!

I've worked with Jay quite a few times over the past 5 years, in group underwater photography workshops as well as private lessons. Most recently, I went to Revillagigedos with him on a liveaboard. He's incredibly knowledgeable, helpful, encouraging, and fun to work with. He also picks fantastic locations. I've gone to Mexico and the Caribbean with him and all the trips were great. He chooses operators who care about the health of the ocean creatures we're photographing as much as we do. Highly recommend working with him if you want to learn and have fun while doing it.

I had the pleasure of taking an underwater photography class with Jay, and I can honestly say he is an outstanding teacher. His passion for the subject is evident, and his ability to share that knowledge in a clear, organized, and engaging way made all the difference. Jay was incredibly patient with me and very flexible with scheduling, which I deeply appreciated. He adapted to my pace and needs, always making sure I felt confident and comfortable in what I was learning. His explanations were not only easy to follow, but also filled with practical tips that helped me improve quickly. Thanks to Jay, I now feel much more confident with my underwater photography skills, and I can’t wait to take another class with him soon. If you’re looking for someone professional, kind, and truly committed to helping you grow—Jay is the person to go to.
