Shipping cost wasn't clear.
I was about to place an order for some new soldering stations and accessories but when it came to the shipping quote it was not clear what the cost would be to Toronto, Canada. I called customer service and they didn't make me feel any more confident to what the duties and extra cost would be and they also mentioned that the new site might cause some problems. Also discounts that were previously applied was not applied when I revised the order so I opted to order from Howard Electronics because it was clearer to me on the total cost.

We are working with a US Postal Service integration and expect to have it operational in the weeks to come. For USPS shipping, the duties and taxes will be collected by your local post office. I have found a site: http://www.dutycalculator.com/country-guides/Import-duty-taxes-when-importing-into-Canada/ that advises the Province of Ontario has a combined rate of 13% of the merchandise value.
