Jack Georges - Edmonton Airport Mall: I had bought a supposed leather belt a few days back from this shop. At the point of purchase I had clearly asked whether this belt was durable as I would be wearing it 5 times a week for work. The shop owner indicated it was suitable. My spouse was with me and can attest to this conversation. I paid for the belt and used it for 2 days. The hole being used for fastening the belt tooth, was beginning to rip and come apart. I went back a few days later and advised the owner of what occurred. I asked to return the belt,...and before I could say anything further he said the receipt indicated "no returns" and exchanges only. Fair enough. I then asked him why this damage occurred with the belt hole, as I was expecting durability. His reply was "you didn't ask" (to which I had done so originally during the purchase. I then responded that he should have told me prior to my purchasing the belt, which he didn't do so upon my requesting it. He then started to become obnoxious, swearing at me in 4 letter words, and telling me to get out. He then bumped me against my body while uttering his words loudly, and having his right hand cocked to simulate his intention to hit me. I then loudly responded "Is this how you treat your customers"! I told him that he's asking for trouble if he dare hit me. He shouted that he'd call the police. I responded "call them". I then tossed the new belt on his counter area....and departed his shop. I then reported him to the Mall manager, who suggested that I advise the RCMP in Leduc county. Beware of this shop owner. He appears to be a middle eastern male, heavy built, and has a bad temper if you question his products. I or my family will NEVER buy anything from this shop, whether here or anywhere in the world again. I have also filed a complaint with his company head office. I would give this shop Zero stars if I could.
