A few months ago, I reached out to Representative Norcross’s office regarding my delayed IRS tax refund. Unfortunately, I’ve hit a complete standstill. This morning, my assigned advocate, Nick, told me it would be another 4 to 6 weeks. I simply do not have that kind of time. I am currently battling stage four cancer, and the financial strain of waiting months for this money has become completely unbearable. The IRS is entirely unreachable by phone, and I am desperate for a real solution. Is there anyone else we can contact to expedite this due to severe medical and financial hardship? I have contacted a few line producers at NBC but I feel like they are not going to help but i will push everyday until i get my money Kathleen Ott

Spent months so far fixing my own issues myself. After multiple passing between phone numbers, with reassurance they would fix the issue. Nobody there even helped. And they vaguely, and slowly answer... If they feel like it. Phone tree and website actively block help. Then use the US government to punish.

IRS is the worst government agency to try and get an issue resolved because you can never get an actual person. I been trying for 22 days now and 11 different numbers and it's automated and I need my 2023 taxes.

If you are even lucky enough to get though and talk to someone they don't want to help you! The website is horrible. There will never be anything more frustrating than trying to deal with the IRS.

Agent was rude, put me on hold a dozen times, refused to answer questions, blamed issues on coding and forms that dont exist. Agent name is Agent ID: MS WILLIAMS and she said her ID was 1004285585. I was on the call for over 55 minutes. Agent refused to assist me. refused to get me a supervisor. constantly condescending. unbelievably disrespectful. after she put me on hold after refusing to answer questions, I told her I want to speak to a supervisor, so back on hold another 5 minutes. She returns and says they are none available. I gave my number and doubt I will ever receive a call. i cant believe how disrespectful this agent was and how condescending. this agent is a strong reason why people HATE working with the IRS. All we want to do is pay our taxes and another hour wasted with no help and no progress. disgraceful.
