I worked with Irrigation King support for about three months to find resolution. Responses took weeks, and the photo evidence they asked for kept changing. We ultimately gave up and are replacing the filter with another brand. Can't recommend this unit (made by Automat India) or irrigationking to support their products. Bought the RKD-225NSA semi-automatic filter. It installed without issue except one side of the filter threaded all the way to the end of our 2" FNPT, the other was very shallow. Once irrigation season was in full swing, the self-cleaning feature did not work at all. I couldn't determine whether this was a design flaw or a defective unit/tolerance issue. Water is supposed to push the discs open against a spring and flow from inside to out to flush it, we had water bypassing around the discs and very little water flowing inside of the discs. Based on the port layout on the cartridge, water should not have been on the outside at all. This made us concerned a similar issue during operation would cause dirty water to bypass filter entirely.
