Boring
Boring, learning the same things over and over. If I get something wrong, ONE QUESTION, it gives me a C on the lesson.

I ready sucks horrible learning website…
I ready sucks horrible learning website like if you mis click it makes you do like 5 more problems and the lessons take foreeeeeeeeeeeever and the diagnostics are so boring that after a while you just guess so you get a bad score and have the time its just talking bla bla bla.
And in the new versions they replaced the fun part of the diagnostic the games with breathing breaks and when i-ready counts your minutes it's like half of the time you Actually spent doing the lessons. And they change your scores to make it look like your learning and they SELL YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION.

Iready made me spontaneously combust.
Iready. AHEM. I have to yap.
I'm 500. The diagnostic took me back to the medieval ages. But not in a nostalgic way. Felt like a torture device in a website. Questions were cold, unfeeling, and just plain screwed up. They said that you would get only HALF the questions right! I have ADHD, and once when I was a little innocent kiddly, I CRIED. CRIED, I say. That's pure, organic, proof of what Iready can do.
Don't get me started on the lessons. They take ALEPH NULL MILLENIA to do. With just one teeny-tiny chance to excel.
Welp, at least the games and mascots and fun, but still, Iready is NOT ready for I.
(actually, I'm not 500. just a weird human.)

This was NEVER Good
why does this exist, it's like a torture chamber where they repeat a torture method over and over and it just gets boring, oh yeah mind you, when you fail 3 questions on the Scoring Round, it's just going to give you a bad score, and when you finish a lesson bad, it's going to repeat the same damn thing, NO instructions. oh also, when you get the question incorrect, it's not going to help you at all, in the 2nd - 3rd failure, it will explain to you and tell you all. you'll probably never use all the information this god forsaken piece of crap this shows you. and i'll speak for everyone, WE (as in all of us) HATE THIS

I don’t even know where to begin with how trash iReady is
my school has used iready since second grade, and now I’m in eighth grade and it’s still HORRIBLE. recently, iready got sued and im talking a massive lawsuit on this one. they got sued for HARVESTING STUDENTS SENSITIVE INFORMATION AND SELLING IT TO SKETCHY EQUITY COMPANIES. now that is extremely messed up. also, my school HEAVILY relies on iReady to determine our grades, so if we get a bad grade on the diagnostic and I mean like REALLY bad, like if you’re in eighth grade and got a fifth grade score on the ELA diagnostic (WHICH IS EXACTLY WHAT HAPPENED TO ME WHEN I TOOK THE LAST DIAGNOSTIC BECAUSE ALL THE QUESTIONS MAKE ZERO SENSE) which I mind you is really easy to do because the questions are vague as heck, you can end up getting put in intervention class for the diagnostic that you failed or just downright repeat the grade for that specific class all over again. There have also been numerous occurrences, not even occasions because they happen ALL THE TIME. Like at the beginning of a lesson, iready just God smacks me with some random math question that I have, for one, never seen anything like it in my life, and most education programs would give me an example on how to solve it because they would know that I haven’t seen anything like it before, but instead, I ready immediately asks me to solve it when I have absolutely no clue what to do because I ready doesn’t teach you ANYTHING. it just expects you to know everything. so if that’s the case, then what even is the point of the diagnostic? ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! And even when they do give examples, they always SUCK and they mention literally the most important parts in two words of the entire example, and that’s really saying something considering I ready takes a whole 5 MINUTES JUST TO SHOW ONE EXAMPLE. And Iready recently added this feature where if you get A SINGLE QUESTION WRONG ON AN ELA LESSON YOU HAVE TO DO THIS PRACTICE THING WHICH TAKES LIKE FIVE MINUTES TO COMPLETE, WHERE YOU HAVE TO ANSWER THE MOST UNNECESSARY AND UNHELPFUL QUESTIONS IN EXISTENCE. AND YOU HAVE TO DO THAT FOR EVERY SINGLE QUESTION YOU GET WRONG SO NOT ONLY DOES THE PRACTICE THING BURN YOU OUT AFTER YOU GET A SINGLE QUESTION WRONG, BUT AT THAT POINT WHEN YOU COMPLETE THE PRACTICE THING YOUR BRAIN IS TOO TIRED TO DO ANYTHING SO YOU’RE MORE LIKELY TO GET MORE QUESTIONS WRONG AND THEN YOU’RE GONNA HAVE TO DO MORE UNNECESSARY AND UNHELPFUL PRACTICE SECTIONS AND BURN YOUR BRAIN OUT EVEN MORE. don’t even get me started on the brakes in the middle of I ready lessons. I ready has these animations every now and then that plays after you get a few questions, and these animations are just COMPLETELY UNNECESSARY. I’m pretty sure they’re supposed to serve as breaks, but if anything they do the exact opposite, they just waste time. and I ready decides whether you’re doing good based on TIME, not actually whether you’re learning the subject or not. So you could have 180 minutes on a singular subject and I ready and you could also not understand a single thing about the subject and I already would consider that you’re doing “good”. It doesn’t directly say whether you’re doing good or bad or not but in the lessons stats section there’s this time goal thing which basically gives you goals for the week for the amount of time you have to do iready for, which once again doesn’t show us how good we’re doing based on what we’ve learned. So once again, you could have 180 minutes on math and you could not understand the subject at all, and iready would consider you to be doing “good”. I could keep ranting about this for hours, but I think I’ve made my point. iReady SUCKS BEYOND WHAT WORDS CAN DESCRIBE AND IT’S TIME FOR IT TO GO.
