I was intrigued by IQ Brain and expected a challenging experience. Instead, I got a basic, outdated quiz and a surprise $49.99 charge...

Snake Oil Scammers This kind of scam is growing on the internet. The Scam runs something like this. A vendor offers something quite cheaply (say $1.99 for an IQ certificate), making it as attractive as possible and at a very cheap price. You accept the price of this item and make the purchase. You are then offered something a bit more expensive, for example an e-book. You deselect this, no I don't want it. You are then told that you can receive a subscription, at a mere $30 a month (this can be training, templates or anything). You refuse this and proceed to the payment page, select PayPal and log in to PayPal. At the PayPal checkout page you make your purchase for $1.99. You receive your receipt but because you trust paypal your don't read the small print. A short while later you receive another receipt, this time for $11.98 for the e-book you had explicitly refused. Getting in touch with the vendor they suggest they can pay you back. They don't and a few days later you receive a charge of $30 for the also explicitly refused subscription. Note: the only payment you have actually agreed to is the original $1.99. Don't expect any help from PayPal.

took a test and paid a small amount for the result, but discovered that there was a subscription included that I didn't know about, initially got it stopped and some of the money back, but despite it being supposed to be stopped they still debit my bank every month. I have had to block my card because they don't do what they promise, in my opinion it's fraud 15/10 - 2025 I managed to stop the payments with great difficulty and I got my money back, so far so good, but the fact that my review is only now being answered, I think that shows how determined you are to solve the problems. I'm glad I used PayPal...

Beware, scam!! This outfit will continue to try billing you at random intervals for increasing amounts. Asking for a refund on their website generates an “email address not found” message. Avoid these fraudsters!!
