I think the program is 5 stars and I have used Ipswitch FTP programs for almost 20 years. When I purchased this last program I had used the free trial first. After I paid for it, I got a confirmation email but absolutely no instructions. I didn't know whether to delete the trial version and download a new one or what. Everything I tried took me to the Buy Now page and I had already paid for it. Using the website for help was a total other horrid experience. Using others experiences to answer a paying customer is awful. After an hour or so there, I found out how to do it but when I went to enter my info, the link was stuck on USA and would not change to Canada. No one on your site had this problem. I finally found a link and contacted Ipswitch and explained what my problem was. I waited to get a reply - which never came. After a couple days, I gave up and decided to try again. They had fixed it but did not bother to let me know. I think your confirmation email should have included the proper steps to activate the service and how long does it take to send a quick email to say it was fixed and thank you for bringing it to our attention. So Program gets 5 stars - Service gets 1.

Great product; HORRIBLE registration/licensing process and documentation of same

I purchased WS_FTP Pro (twice, once long ago, and then just recently), but can't install it on both my desktop and on my laptop (for only occasional use). I'm very disappointed.

Best option I was given because I lost my registration number was to buy another copy. Curious why you folks don't have records for your customers to help us out.

I have yet to get the app running. It indicates that the app I'm trying to install doesn't match the app I bought.

Have to say that the Web portion was very easy. I do wish that I could have ordered 3 licenses at once instead of 1 at a time, as I did not need 5 which was my only other option. The product installed easily and worked great as my users experienced no trouble adapting to the new program. Your Phone Sales however left a bad taste in my mouth. No one every called me back after I filled out the online sales request form. I called in and was sent over to a sales agent but I only got his voice mail, I did leave multiple messages but no call back. Most of my answers were gleaned from going over your website and not by sales. I guess they just don't care about making money So bottom line the online portion was nice the human interface not so much.

Incompatible with Directory Opus. I do not have FTP enabled in DO either. WS_FTP makes DO crash.
